  1. Question I have: are the labels ready to purchase?
  2. I guess after being on AtariAge for over 8 years I've seen the discussion of the ColecoVision and scrolling beaten to death...
  3. Timing is all wrong in this game. NES version sucks because they tried to squash the playfield into a horizontal screen and the bad guys are practically on top of you.
  4. The best part is the link to the t-shirt. I'm in for one! Pinball PA has a Shark Jaws that I got to play. Fun game for its time.
  5. And we will never know how long the Super Game Module would've extended the life of the ColecoVision and if they would have released a second console.
  6. puh-leeze It's library was well diversified from arcade hits, to not as well known arcade titles, to originals.

  10. I don't know how they calculated 400,000 - seems pretty high. I changed my password in any event.
  11. I got an alert from Lifelock that over 400,000 user IDs, pass, IP and emails from CheapAssGamer.com were found on a dark web forum.
  12. Guy at work sees my Nichibutsu shirt. Next day brings me a Crazy Climber cabinet.

^The Who? •I always loved Crazy Climber because of the way you control it, and all the places your player can put his hands. It seemed a requirement to have a different controller for every new game year after year!

No not The Who...(Although maybe then he'd get a Tommy Pinball game? haha), the BareNaked Ladies (They did the theme song to The Big Bang Theory...) and if your shirt said... Anyway... :)

  13. It looks like crap but it sure is fun to play. Not as fun as the 5200 version though.
  14. I don't know how far you are from Pittsburgh, but you could consider bundling a visit with ReplayFX which is what I did a few years ago. I went to Pinball PA on a Thursday then spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday at ReplayFX. Just give yourself a lot of time at Pinball PA cuz they have over 300 machines - some of the arcade games you won't find anywhere else. I pooped my pants when I saw a Tazz-Mania there. Pinball PA is located in a strip mall. There's a pizza shop but if memory serves it's either take out only or they have little seating available. There's also a restaurant that has good food like seafood and steak but it's on the pricey side.
  15. I appreciate it for what it is. It's no different than any other timed target shooting game where you try to get the highest score possible. MAME doesn't offer the same experience as playing the cabinet.
  16. Pinball PA has a Sky Raider. What you're missing by playing it in MAME is the color overlay and the cool monitor bezel found in the arcade game.
  17. Get a PC and load it with DOS and Win 3.1. At least they'll acquire skill working with the command line.

  19. Is it neat? Yes. Would I buy one? No. It would just end up sitting on a shelf collecting dust.
