  1. That reminds me of another trackball hack that was made: Spacemaster X-7 (I think it's called). I actually play better using the joystick versus the trackball.
  2. Feel free to use my status update to continue the Coleco discussion now that the thread has been locked...

With 17000 views, more than "J. Fontaine" can hope for.

  3. I only see yours from yesterday. The one before that is the Atari Vault from early May.
  4. I find this to be true as well. It seems that the joystick game is more precise over the control of your ship.
  5. I support Chris Cardillio and Coleco 100%!!!

  7. http://replayfx.org/ I will be there for the third straight year. And they have a pinball tournament Saturday and Sunday open to all players: http://replayfx.org/competitions/intergalactic/ Back to the Old School: Retro Gamers Gear Up for ReplayFX in Pittsburgh http://thenerdstash.com/old-school-gamers-replayfx-pittsburgh/
  8. Why is everyone beating up on Chris Cardillio? He seems like a nice guy...

  10. But aren't those the only games the trackball works with? Crystal Castles doesn't work with the trackball - I remember trying it out. With that, I didn't find the trackball having much value.
  11. A KLOV member won an eBay auction last year for Victory by Comsoft PCB. Today it is running in MAME (although unsure of accuracy). I'm not. But then again my Outlook account is not what I use to sign up for websites for (I use gmail for that).

I'm thinking one of those job board sites I'm a member of got hacked. But nothing in the news about it

  13. I always found Ms. Pac-Man to be soothing
  14. I can't relate - don't most of the games offer various skill levels? As far as whether to sell or not, I cleaned house a couple of years ago and sold off any systems I had that barely got played and I don't regret it or miss those systems one bit. If you truly despise the 7800 then I don't see how you would miss it if you sold off your collection.
  15. For what you would pay to get the Atarisoft Pac-Man on cartridge, you would be better off getting the multicart.
  16. There's a guy on eBay that sells the same parts as Best Electronics for the 5200 controller if you prefer point-and-click versus phone/email. I've bought all my controller parts from him and was satisfied with the service.
  17. You can get Wico controllers. There's a Y cable where you would connect both the Wico and stock controller. That way it gives you the keypad functions while using the Wico joystick. My favorites are Wizard of Wor, Defender, Berzerk, Buck Rogers, Zaxxon, Centipede, Kangaroo, Meteorites, Missile Command, Moon Patrol, Pole Position, Pengo and Qix. Somewhere you can download 8-bit computer conversions for the 5200 and load them up on your AtariMax. I can't remember if there was a thread here on AtariAge or not where I got mine (it's been a while). Check out this link here if you haven't already.
  18. I'm thinking turning around the magazine will be a lot easier for you then trying to get traffic to GameGavel. I'm really cringing at the purchase of GameGavel.
