Ok, so it's the Expansion Module #3 version and it may or may not be "unused"... Still worth picking up???
-
The owner removed the items from the box to photograph. Most everything is in original plastic bags, so not sealed and I'm not 100% sure it is "unused" but the condition looks incredible from what I have seen... One other thing... I have seen Adam boxes that are predominately Blue, but this one is mostly red (red logos, etc.)

$90.00USD, but he might be willing to go down a bit...

I have an opportunity to buy an ADAM in original box, possibly NEVER used (from what I'm hearing). I know this is pretty subjective, but is it worth buying?

I acquired my first ColecoVision recently and the problem I am running into is that it SEEMS like it takes a few attempts to get the cartridges seated correctly. Often, I insert a cartridge (and yes, I have cleaned the contacts on all the cartridges) and when I switch on I get ONE of the following: 1) The start-up screen, but with garbled text below (title, etc. are missing letters, etc.) 2) A plain, colored screen and some sort of tone or buzz. 3) Nothing at all. 4) A perfect start-up screen and subsequent crystal clear perfect game play. Thoughts? What could be giving me this trouble???

Wife got me two pairs of the fleece pants (multi-colored logos). Wearing a pair right now! They are SO comfortable! Can't beat it for $14.99!

Thanks AtariLeaf! And while I have watched a number of your videos, I wasn't subscribed... Until just now!

First of all, I have now PHYSICALLY cleaned all of the items (including ALL of the cartridges). I opened Expansion Module #1 and the Roller Controller and cleaned those the most (blew out a lot of dust, washed all plastic bits and pieces, etc.) At this point, the main unit has been tested and it is INCREDIBLE. Gorgeous, bright, clean output. Switches are solid. Just a perfect unit. Expansion Module #1, however, is not working at the moment. I will be checking that more in the coming days (probably bust out a meter). I will be cleaning all of the cartridge contacts starting tomorrow, though. That will take some time, but the results will be so worth it. As for Craigslist, I have had nothing but great success over the past couple years... This huge haul as well as a TI-99/4A with accessories (for FREE), an Atari 1200XL (in incredible condition), an 800XL and a TRS-80 CoCo 2 (upgraded to 64K) via a TRADE (the seller was asking for cash, but I offered another item from my collection and he accepted).

I recently acquired a ColecoVision lot (a GOOD one, too) via Craigslist (CLICK HERE for a video showing the entire lot). Today, I was cleaning up the equipment and I noticed that the label on the underside of the main unit is covering another label. Anyone have any ideas about what that other label might be? My unit (which is in INCREDIBLE condition, btw) also has the "CONSUMER PLEASE NOTE!" sticker on the top. Were those on all the units from the outset?

Anyone know anything about these: http://www.bigvaluedepot.com/NewAtari2600Games I just spotted this link via a Craigslist posting here in L.A.

Anybody using Atari 8-bit for anything productive?
Ogma replied to Mr.Amiga500's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I've been using mine (in fact all of my retro computers) to re-learn some programming languages. My usual job as a writer (and occasional voice-actor) has me living a rather nebulous lifestyle, but learning structured programming (again) is really helping me focus and approach a lot in life in a more logical way. Think of it as therapy, I guess, without having to pay big bucks to lie on someone's couch and ramble about my problems... -
I am also having a frustrating issue with an XC12... I acquired one from Europe a couple months ago (new in box), but only recently did I hook it up to try and load a couple tapes. I am doing the whole "CLOAD" thingy and I can hear noise as it rolls on, but then the computer craps out with one of two possible errors (either 21 or (I believe 143). I have tried connecting the XC12 to both a 65XE and an 800XL and I get the same issue with both which makes me think that there's a problem with the XC12. Any thoughts???

Remember, that eBay name protection thingy is active, I think, only when you aren't signed in. In other words, while your eBay name might be "atariguy" it may now show up as "m**y" if you are not signed in. Clearly that means that "a**r" was really "bob1200xl"

What's the latest Atari related thing(s) you've bought on ebay?

Is $100 for a 1040ST and SC1224 color monitor a good price? Someone locally is selling them and I'm thinking of buying...

Another one with a decent Buy It Now price: http://cgi.ebay.com/VINTAGE-ATARI-1200XL-C...%3A1|240%3A1318
