  1. That made me laugh so hard, i had to send it to my dad XD He'll guarantee to make some kind of email chain letter out of it XD
  2. I would hate to meet the kid that got stuck with him as a guardian angel if he even made it THAT far. "come here little boy" XD
  3. -waves- I'm the friend Yea, the game is awesome. ^_^ I think rockman said enough so all i can do is be a cheerleader in the background Forgive me. But i hope there is another one coming out.
  4. I was thinking on a DSi ever since i heard they were adding in a camera feature. Myself as a freelance Photographer always find these types of attachments interesting... but considering right now its only coming out in black or white, i just may hold off on it for a little while in case there are some errors that could be worked on. Other then that, i have to ask my hubby if it is alright to get it.
  5. MY LIT REVIEW: Where there is darkness, there are monsters. LIT is a video game released on February 9th, 2009, for the Nintendo Wii platform that does just that. The publisher, WayForward Technologies, cleverly uses the Wiimote and Nunchuck combination to play the supposedly-originally horror and puzzle game that takes place in a high school after hours. For some unknown reason, the entire school is flooded in an unknown mass of darkness that is spawning shadow bugs and monsters that seek nothing but your demise. There are thirty levels, and five bosses (to which happens to be twisted ghostly versions of the schools faculty staff) that you must fight to be able to proceed to the next level. You as the main character, Jake, uses a mass of items to make your way though the darkened rooms, using items such as a slingshot to break the windows to let in a stream of light, using a flare, and turning on a computer or television to give a short burst of light to attempt to make a sort of bridge from one point of the room to the other as you search for you girlfriend, Rachel. Occasionally the use of the Wiimote can be used to recharge your flashlight by shaking it, making a throwing action to toss cherry bombs, or using it as a telephone to contact your girlfriend for tips, it is still a device used to make you become more interactive with the game as a whole. The game also has beautiful sounding music, with its mix of a recorder, piano, and string choir sound, it sets you in the correct mood to keep you alert at all times. However, the game was supposedly said to be an original plot upon release, there was a long-forgotten Comador64 had a game very similar to this concept, where you were on a text adventure to escape a high school. In this game, 'Cursor, Foiled Again!!' (where there was to be a word play involved to the computer cursor), there was a wizard that locked you up in a high school, and you had to foil the wizards evil plans time and time again until you managed to escape the school to win the game. Here, almost fifteen years later, we come across a silent remake called LIT. One of the other downsides to the game LIT is that everything seems to be circling around the A button, to both activate, use, and collect items around the main character. When you were meaning to use the remote to activate the next bridge of light, you accidentally turn off the nearest lamp, having you start the puzzle all over again. Sadly you have to be some distance away from such object so these accidents can not happen, but it is also one of the many things that could have been worked on. Of course, the overall controls of this game is not the best in the world when it requires you to use a certain pattern of buttons or movement just to use one item. You almost need practice before you can even begin to play. In conclusion, other then the fact that you do not have to type 'go north', the graphics makes up for much of the loss; considering now and days that is what most gamers look for instead of actual quality (unlike me). Even if that is one of the very few strong points, it is still rare to find a puzzle game with a horror theme to it with its respectable challenges. Granted the idea might be a lot of people's cup of tea to finally get into the idea of puzzles, it still requires much more then patience to get though all thirty levels. I would recommend the game only to people who were either (really) into puzzles, or who had a record for being clinically insane; because by the end of the game, you just might be. Overall score: 3.8 out of 10
  6. At first glance, Big Bang Mini does not appear to be all that good of a game. When you first approach it; where normally the only games that ever hit the bargain bin are either very old titles that everyone has several copies of, or a game that no one has ever heard of before and has never sold; not a brand new release that has never seen the heavenly light of the glass case bask on it like if it was a blessing from beyond. Although that might be a bad example of what the more higher-up games might have experienced, it still seems like that alone might disgust you into instantly want to put it back as though if it were some kind of disease waiting to happen. The first thing that catches your eye is the plastic sheet over the front of the box that you would randomly discover on a toy by simply moving the image around. To some people, it might still be entertaining to see a fish or some random object move by simply altering the angles, but to experienced gamers, it could easily be a ploy to simply make the game appear supposedly better then it actually is. Even reading the back with it's very veg description of the game would put you in a state of question. Even looking up the information online about this unusual game of shooting down objects with fireworks might put you in a state of shock to see ratings such as 9.5 out of 10, or five our of five stars. How could a game this ridicules, in the bargain bin, with a flashy ploy-cover, possibly get almost perfect ratings from even the most critical of websites? Although it might be a gamble to buy the game on any level, the unusual shoot-em-up design of using fireworks to destroy your enemies seemingly makes up for it. When moving your "ship" on the bottom of the Nintendo DS touchscreen to avoid attacks, you also launch back atacks though flicking the pen in an upwards motion to shoot a firework. This consept sounds simple, but it only becomes harder once you see that wilding shooting in all directions is not the key to defeating each level. Each firework that does not hit a target explodes, and rains down on top of you, causing a just as equal threat to your ship as the enimy fire would. With each level being short, given that you can collect the spoils that each enimy drops after being shot down to fill up your star meter, one life is all you need; no matter however many retrys that you may encounter. Each game has its own glitter to it with things such as music, enimies, graphics, and more; but to start off with something that each game would need to consider first off is what the player is going to fight. The enimies very in each differnt stage of the game, which is something that very few games would allow to do due to their supposed lack of creativity. With nine differnt worlds featured in differnt parts of the world like Paris [France], Hong Kong [China], Kamakura [Japan], Luxor [Egypt], to at-home places like Aurora [Minnesota] and New York [New York], you would meet very odd creations such as Pirate Snowmen, Gaint Pandas on Clouds, Balooning Pigs, Sphynxs, Dragons, and more that which you probibly would never expect to be challenging and fun at the same time. The music within the game is beautiful, and the graphics are of course, fireworks, look exactly like it should: just as spictacular as the show on Independence Day, but lacking the swarms of maquitoes. Although I am sure that a lot of people may or may not agree with me that having a romen candle fight with your friends would probibly be a lot more memorable then shooting down a pair of rabits, wearing 3D glasses that I might add, riding on flying carpets; but until the day comes, this game would have to do. Controls: 8 of 10 Music: 9 of 10 Graphics: 10 of 10 Overall rating: 9.7
  7. Another day, another post. Actually, I'm here again because I got a question. I'll use this picture as an example: http://www.nintendoraw.com/media/pictures/...are/Lit/IGN.jpg see the exit? Well each exit leads to another classroom. so wheres that light from the window coming from if it doesn't go outside?
  8. Where there is codes, there will be hackers. There'll always be a way. Trust me. (Hope that makes ya feel better)
  9. I downloaded it when i seen it was available... and about all i seen was the beginning intro before i turned off my Wii. Im not saying that as a bad thing, I just didnt find the time to play it yet. (Honestly, i got it for my hubby.) That of which i was thinking on making a comical video of Lit, but I'd probably have to play it first before i can make it successful. XD But LIT does look good, i'll admit that.
  10. i did, but then again, i'm the one that pointed you to the game in the first place. XD
