  1. Bought some 1040STf parts from eightbit. I paid first and he shipped them out quickly and well packaged. Items were exactly as described... Thanks !
  2. One thing I would try in your situation to finish removing the label is dental floss. Place your left and right index fingers along the top and bottom of the label with floss pulled tight between them and slow pull the dental floss under the label using a back and forth motion. This is a trick used to remove emblems from cars. Then I would use this Scotch tape to reattach the emblem. Just be careful when trimming the excess tape from the edges.
  3. I'm selling a replacement 1040ST keyboard. The keyboard assembly is new and tested as working. The key caps are custom glossy keys. Makes the 1040 look very sharp and custom. If anyone is interested, PM me. I only ship within the U.S. This version has the Power:GREEN and Disk Drive:ORANGE LED lights. Some of the older 1040's use RED LEDs for both lights. Check yours carefully. Thanks..
  4. Links not working for me neither. Try their homepage: http://www.hiivebooks.com/
  5. Let me put a question out there out of curiousity. I just received a Satandisk for my 1040STf. I just don't get what the big deal is with this type of device. Playing games from it is very limited. Why are these type of devices in such high demand if it has such limitations? Am I missing something here? Is there some other use for it besides limited gaming? Thanks
  6. Wow. I was about to submerge my 1040STf case in peroxide. Guess I'll have to use the paste method to avoid your situation. Thanks for the info.
  7. Preferrably working and in good cosmetic condition. Thanks
  8. Thanks for the info. I'll check them out.
  9. ApolloBoy hooked me up very nicely. Thanks...
  10. Anyone have an extra one of these cartridges they don't need? PM me if you're interested in selling it, please. Thanks... Atari CXL4019 In-Store Demonstration Program Cart
  11. Post a couple photos if you can, so we can have a look. thanks
  12. Anyone know if I can use the 13-pin cable, shown on the following link, to connect my 1040STf to my SC1224(JVC)? Click here
  13. Can someone identify the monitor being used with the Atari 800 in this movie (click on the link below) at the 6:00 minute mark?
  14. Yes. Thanks for the info. You're right about the case though, I sure wish I could put my SIO2SD inside a nice enclosure. Kinda vulnerable with all the components exposed.
