What's the Worst Console You Ever Played?
dustfilledhobo replied to VectorGamer's topic in Classic Console Discussion
I haven't played every system (or even close to it), but my experience with the 3DO was terrible. Unfortunately I've only played "Plumbers Don't Wear Ties" and "Shadow: War of Succesion" which I hope isn't representative of the entire console, but it is all I've experienced. -

Apple II Music Program Suggestions (Live Performance)
dustfilledhobo replied to dustfilledhobo's topic in Apple II Computers
Thanks for the info, I probably would have bought one of the Mockingboard clones without realizing that it was incompatible with my Apple ][c. I guess I'll forget about Apple ][ music until the ][c Mockingboard comes out. Thanks again! -

Anyone know where to buy Retroskoi+ other than from the original manufacturer? They're sold out. -

Thanks for the heads-up. I think it might still be worth it for me if they ever come back in stock. -
Apple II Music Program Suggestions (Live Performance)
dustfilledhobo replied to dustfilledhobo's topic in Apple II Computers
Thanks for the info. Unfortunately they are out of stock too. Also, the speech could be fun to play around with, so it sucks that it doesn't support that.... but the tube design is so enticing. -
Apple II Music Program Suggestions (Live Performance)
dustfilledhobo replied to dustfilledhobo's topic in Apple II Computers
I play in an 80s scifi-themed electronic band called Conquer Monster. We use synths, gameboys, and C64s to make our music. I own an Apple ][c computer (I mistakenly labeled it as ][e in the original post) and wanted to see if I could start incorporating it into our sound. So to directly answer your question, the goal would be to record the Apple II computers and to play them live in a venue. Here's a gear shot from our album release show back in October: -
Apple II Music Program Suggestions (Live Performance)

Thanks for the suggestion! I'm having trouble finding pricing information on the Mockingboard clones. ReactiveMicro.com is currently out of stock, but they recently announced that they are making a second run. Do you know about how much they will cost? -
I own Cynthcart and MSSIAH and have been very happy with both of them. I'm also aware of Retroskoi+ and have played it in VICE (seems fun, but I'd like to try it on a real C64, unfortunately it is sold out). Are there any other good ones that I haven't listed? Thanks!

My wife and I are starting a new music project and need an Atari 2600. I'm not particular about which model and I only need the console and power supply (no games or joysticks). Thanks, please include a shipped price to zipcode: 84606.

I have a c64 and c128 for making music. I also collect speech synths and have always been interested in owning a ti-99/4a, but haven't found one when I had the money to pay for it. -
When I was about 6 years old my family bought their first computer (1989). Unfortunately neither my parents nor I remember what type of computer it was. There was a selection screen with 26 games labeled A-Z. I'm hoping someone can help me identify game "R". This game had a top-down view of the floor plan of a house drawn very simple (possibly using only ascii characters). Your character was a smiley face and your objective (I think) was to solve a murder. I have searched the Internet for this game, but with only a few details it is hard to know what to search for. Here's what I've found so far: Mystery House: I watched this walk thorough video and this game seems very similar to the game I'm looking for, but the graphics are a lot more advanced. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiwHwPvIHBs Snipes: This game has a similar look, but the objective of the game is different. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I know that I didn't give you much info to work with, so I understand if this is impossible. Thanks.

I just bought a C128 + PSU + C64 from SiLic0ne t0aD85. He had great communication. He shipped the items quickly after I paid for them and he was honest in his descriptions of the items.
