  Why should we consider certain words to be more or less offensive depending on who says them? If they're *really* offensive, then they're offensive, no matter who says them.
  
  Even better, let's stop getting so riled up over them in the first place. On the original Star Trek, Uhura said that "in our century, we've learned not to fear words." I'd like to see us move a little further along that path.
