I was once at an arcade having a great game on Kung Fu Master (a game I was never any good at until that day) and had never beaten the 4th floor boss. FINALLY I got to him and started kicking his ass. I kicked off his head (had lots of energy) and he grew another without making the "copy" of himself. I started gut-punching the hell out of him and was about to finish him off.. when the game froze. S**T!!! Another time I was going for a record I was going to submit to Nintendo Power magazine for Super Mario Bros. I had MILLIONS of points, over a hundred lives, etc. I was playing this in the den, and the wiring was all screwed up.. the light switch at the bottom of the stairs from the living room turned off the television and NES. We had relatives over and their kids, and one of them (about 4 years old) sauntered down the stairs and turned the light switch off. UGH!!!

Probably 8 or 9. Before we bought one I played it at Sears or some other department stores.

My sister and I got a lot of use out of Pac-Man; we kind of enjoyed it. As for E.T., it sucks like a jet engine.

Great name, "Fist Puncher". What else do you punch with, your feet?!

It is the sole definition of REPETITIVE or MONOTONOUS. Ugh!

In The Hunt is terrific! Going back further I used to like Sub Scan for the Atari 2600.

There was a cool mini-golf place in Milwaukie, OR called "The Chocolate Chipper" with a mini-arcade. Not much further down McLoughlin Blvd. was a mall that had a Wunderland arcade, the only place I'd ever seen "Samurai Nihon-Ichi" by Taito, a goofy Kung-Fu Master game with swords.

In case no one mentioned it.. Looping

I love Flashback. I have it for my Genesis emulator. Not sure if this works on other game emulators (like for the Jaguar, or SNES or other systems) but a certain trick works on the Genesis emulators of the game where you can walk through walls! In some cases this can be very benificial, in others you just fall to your death.

Still there: Funland in Seaside, OR. Not the same anymore.. BITD it had a big shooting gallery, and TONS of Skee-Ball for 10 cents for 9 wooden balls. Not many arcade games back then. Fortunately, at least, there are a lot more now that the shooting gallery is gone (including some classics). And there's a big pizza restaurant inside!

Good work! Galaga and Ms. Pac-Man are hopefully on the horizon.

I've never heard of that.. Dig Dug to my knowledge only easily swaps with other Namco titles of the pre-Jamma age. As for Crystal Castles I don't know.

350 is cheap. I never really cared for the game personally but if it's something you really want that is a great price.

Aw man, I thought you were talking about Plush Pippin. That restaurant's been gone for like 20+ years.
