    Hey NEOphiles, Newest video is of RAGE OF THE DRAGONS, a real difficult vs. fighting game that is a must to avoid for those uncomfortable with having to learn combos or deal with very cheap opponents, and a multitude of attacks that easily get through your defenses.. because not only does that happen in this game, it happens RIGHT off the bat! There are some cool things like a combo attack you can do after pulling off a "first strike", as well as the super moves you can do when you fill your meter once, twice, even 3 times. This contains characters from DOUBLE DRAGON, albeit with slightly different names (due to licensing falling through at the last minute). Only recommended for the very patient! Included at the beginning is my flashback tribute to the year 2002, in which Rage Of The Dragons was created. This marks my second-to-last flashback in a series of 20. The beginning of the Patriots dynasty, Eminem, The Bourne Identity, and much, much more get a look in this video. Thanks for watching!

    I got my mom to take me to Chuck E Cheese back in the day a handful of times.. awful pizza but man, did they have fantastic games-- and tons of them! Chuck E himself wandered around to shake hands/hug kids and I'd avoid him like the plague. For folks in the Pacific Northwest I have very fond memories of the ORGAN GRINDER and UNCLE MILT'S theater-style houses with great pizza, great arcades and silent movies or 3 Stooges movies.

    Hey folks, This is my newest video of a NEO GEO game-- this is the deceptively deep (a little TOO deep) vs. fighter NINJA MASTERS by ADK/SNK from 1996. I'm in the midst of my "Flashback" episodes that are a sort of time capsule, and this encapsulates the year 1996-- I was lucky enough to actually attend the Olympics in Atlanta! At any rate, this game features (surprise) a number of ninjas to select from and features many moves, special meters you fill up that allow you to do MORE moves, and certain finishing moves, desperation moves and moves you can pull off when the opponent has low energy. A bit too much for my simplistic tastes in fighting games.

      Yep, there's Samurai Shodown V Special. Released April 22, 2004. Evidently it was SNK's last Neo-Geo game.

      There's always a late NeoGeo game. It won't be representative of 2004, since the hardware is from 10+ years prior, but it meets the criteria.

    Hey folks, My newest video is another "Flashback" episode which takes us back to the final year of the 20th century.. 1999! And I also review CAPTAIN TOMADAY, a weirdo shmup for the NEO GEO. You play as an anthropomorphic tomato (!) that doesn't shoot his enemies but punches them with both hands (!). Fortunately you don't have to alternate button presses, you can just hold them down to rapid-fire punch. If you repeatedly punch with one hand, you'll charge a stronger punch with the other. The usual power-ups (option, weapon power-up, bonus points) are found by shooting tomato paste cans! Totally nutso; if you like that sort of thing check it out.
