      I want to see my Eagles finally win a SuperBowl, which will be tough without Wentz. Eagles Bills in the SuperBowl would be interesting, as both teams have been in SuperBowls before, but neither has won.

      For years I stumped my toes on the way to the bathroom, but then I switched to energy efficient LED bulbs and not the light shines perfectly in the halls of Shambala.

    That's cool, Anthony! I did not know about this Japanese tradition-- I would greatly prefer it over turkey, which I've never really liked that much. I might not go KFC since Popeye's is a little better IMHO, but both are good. I guess Terry, Andy and Joe are indeed on their way to this:

    One more NEO review: PUZZLED/JOY JOY KID (1990 SNK) One of the earliest games for the NEO GEO MVS, this is a blatant ripoff of TETRIS-- it even has the same exact pieces! There are slight cool differences though; you must free a dirigible (blimp or balloon) that is trapped at the bottom by blocks you must make Tetris lines with to eliminate them. When the dirigible is freed the level ends. Said dirigible has the ability to release a bomb blast with can destroy a swath of blocks but only once (the higher the bomb meter the wider the blast radius), and to replenish it you must clear stages. There's a neat Mt. Olympus motif-- between every 10 stages you get keys from gods to go to the next series of stages, and twice during the game you play bonus stages (you don't need to succeed with them). When you beat the game you have to do it ALL AGAIN with player 2! Bogus.. still kind of interesting for a blatant ripoff.

    Hey folks, newest NEO GEO review: BATTLE FLIP SHOT (1998, Visco Games) Interesting little variation of Pong, in which you don't merely try to get the ball past your opponent but take out the 6 targets they're trying to protect. Each character (of 5) has a unique special attack to fire the ball back faster. The speed can get understandably crazy as the arena isn't particularly big (fixed screen). You can also slide to deflect a ball that might get by you. You also have a worthless taunt. I wasn't a huge fan of this one, but it's an effective time-waster at least. Sequel: BANG BEAD (!).

    Even though it's not NEO GEO this is an older game in the SNK oeuvre. This is LASSO, a kind of cutesy game involving a cowboy lassoing cattle. Watch out for attack dogs and a dragon (!) that pops out of wells. Hold down the lasso button and release to create the lasso around cattle; multiple cattle snared at once offer a big bonus! Lob bricks/rocks/not sure what the hell they are at the dogs and dragons. Weird but playable, though a bonus round would be very welcome.

      I always put old TV show themes on my CD comps amidst all the other stuff...You reminded me I used like the theme song to Card Sharks (which I haven't heard in decades :)
