I'm never thrilled when a quarterback throws multiple ugly picks and still wins MVP. But even for the brief career Mahomes has had so far he deserves to win a Super Bowl.

Was anyone else puzzled by the Rocky & Bullwinkle bumper where they fall off a cliff (created by lightning), turn into ghosts (?!) and then grow out of the ground?? WTF!

I sometimes get an odd kick out of putting on invincibility cheats in MAME and leaving an old game's demo on. The computer controlled character doesn't know what to do when it's supposed to die!

Well, maybe it's not amusing per se to most.. I just find it interesting. Many games probably just have a certain time limit for the demo regardless of invincibility before it goes back to the main screen. Mario's actions in Donkey Kong always interested me. You can almost hear the computer saying "Hey-- I was supposed to die! What the hell am I supposed to do now?".

Cosmetic surgery tomorrow.. out of work 3 weeks. I will be an ugly SOB for a while (black eyes) but it will be worth it in the long run. Plus; no work!

Ah fair enough, I have had that exact issue my whole life, dark circles, "bags" etc, it is literally from my mother's side, I cannot be bothered to do anything cosmetically as I am married 15 years + and I am 51 so as long as my wife loves me screw everyone else (here is a rough quick image to show I am not just lying, sometimes it can look better than this image and sometimes worse) but you have your reasons and best of luck, you do what makes you feel best. Hell 20+ years ago if I was in the financial position I might have considered it, lord knows I had enough of people saying "You look tired, get enough sleep last night?" in my life ?

^ I completely hear you. It had just gotten worse within the last 5 years or so and I had saved up enough, so I took the plunge. I look even worse today than I thought I would. The eyes are black, crusty and swollen and have tape all over them. Hideous! But they're not getting teary as bad as before. Just gotta take pain meds here and there. The tape comes out Sunday. Gonna be another week and a half or so before it looks presentable. Right now, I will completely avoid going out or looking in mirrors.

Yikes.. cosmetic surgery is going to be bat-sh*t expensive. My eyes look like crap though. I'll at least finally get to use sick time at work.
