  1. These items are no longer for sale. For whatever reason these particular items cause inquiries/PMs up to the point of price/shipping agreement but then the potential buyers always stop responding. Moving on...
  2. Okay then. I am willing to go $125 shipped! Wrap a bit of custom cardboard boxing around the Vectrex box and tape it with wreckless abandon! Insure for $125 how can you lose?
  3. Send a PM to Albert and all will be good
  4. Me and my brother used to play Turmoil with volume down while listening to Men at Work. Yes it was the Who Can it Be Now slash Land Down Under album. Not because the sound was bad but we just did it that way. Other times we would listen to the Atari. All that being said some 7800 sounds are just grating as stated above esp when compared to arcade originals. Throw in comparing the grating sounds of some games compared to others on the 7800 that sound great expands the annoying letdown. Of course a certain game involving a jumpman and a big ape comes to mind...
  5. No offense fmdof but as previously stated I'm about to not care and dismantle for sheer pleasure. Any small display that has traditional aspect ratio(not widescreen) is a prime target for my tool bench. A few different people are dying to buy as is right now. PMs all over the place. Trying to respond to all in order.
  6. Update: Headset and GBA converter still up for grabs but about to close this thread. Too many inquiries but no deals. Last chance bump before I destroy these things for mod projects.
  7. Several Ms Pacmans one with Gamekey Several different Pacman Namco variants Atari Joystick X2 Atari Paddle(2 player) Scooby Doo X2 one with Gamekey slot but no gamekey Pinball Pro Space Invaders Spiderman Multiple Atari FB2s modded and not Paintball Gun game Mortal kombat X2 with link cable Frogger Arcade Advanced Star Wars Millenium Falcon All three Atari keychain games A couple of different Sega Genesis PNPs Super Joy III Senario 101 in 1(Walgreens) VG Pocket Caplet(handheld but has TV out...and Frogger!) Probably one or two more I am forgetting. My stash of these things is out of control but hard not to buy when I find em used fer cheep!
  8. Jakks is pretty dang prolific. My plug n play collection is getting out of hand. Mine too. I must have 20 of the things. I just can't pass 'em up at thrift stores fer cheep!
  9. These seem to be widespread. My brother told me he saw them for sale in a grocery in Angel Fire New Mexico. Seems to be they are only in grocery stores. Weird. I suppose all the stores are part of the giant conglomerate with one big buy distributed to all the individual stores. Now with what Ive heard of this piracy I want to have my brother get one for me to test myself. Sincere apologies to all the Legacy Engineering guys who are being cheated. Maybe some good can come of this. MAYBE Atari MIGHT see there's some demand out there. Happy Holidays all!
  10. Second PM sent RE: SNES, Nick and Kay etc... Hoping I actually get through on this awesome thread! I always missed out before on these. HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!!
  11. EDIT: Sorry, I posted my answer here, regarding "fearfully" and the plug-n-play games, etc. PM on its way, and YOU ROCK!!!
  12. Yessir, this game is/was fun city. I like the cheesy low-res cutscenes in all their 70s-style glory, too. Eat your heart out, Tarentino! There was a sequel(I forget the name--Interstate eighty-something?) was not nearly as fun for many reasons.
  13. If you ever even think about paying $25 for a 7800 DK cart, PM me. I'd love to sell you one. Not worth anything close to that. Yeah, yeah, yeah not as good as NES version. Whatever. That wasn't the question here. NES version is also "off." Apologies to the OP for his dead cart. Atari2600.com has it for $5.95 loose(a bit high if you asked me), $7.95 CIB OR $9.95 shrinkwrapped new. Ebay is rarely a good place to judge prices.
  14. Definitely some great stuff for sale on ebay, but $5.35 to ship a gameboy cart/same for a 2600 cart? Wow.
  15. PM sent for Racquetball, Star Trek, Encounter at L5 and Food Fight.
  16. YES! THANK YOU! I frequently refer to 2600 Space Invaders just as you have. With home play being a bit of a different animal than arcade play, Space Invaders 2600 changed the arcade version a bit to actually make it more fun to play at home. Ever played MAME Space Invaders? It gets boring a lot quicker than the 2600 version, IMHO. Without the incentive to get every last second of gameplay out of a quarter, some MAME/'Perfect' arcade games aren't as much fun at home as they were in arcades, and a FEW home conversions made the right choices to compensate. Other times perfect conversions are the trick(pac and ms pac, etc), but, well, I could go on and on--you get my point.
  17. Beverly Hills cop theme also ripped of Moon Patrol, IMHO.
  18. It's been a little while, but I thought Jr Pac-Man didn't run correctly on an FB2. The dots don't disappear when eaten?
  19. Search these forums for info-o-plenty. The sticks you linked to are clear versions of the original regular black USB Legacy Engineering sticks. The Legacy Engineering guys are members here. Far as I know, the sticks are basically USB versions of the ones that came with the Flashback 2(with extra contacts inside that facilitate addition of extra buttons for modders), meaning they're excellent.
