[Can't upgrade SIDE2 cartridge]

I had the same problem this week using UFLASH to update SIDE2 on my 1200Xl with U1MB. Hangs on the Rom selection screen. SIDE2.com seems to have worked OK as I have SIDE driver v4.0 now.
