Was just curious as to the value of Trackballs. I am looking into getting a set..

Well school night and its late.. but me and my brother are staying up late regardless. We were bored so I flipped power on my Atari and we played for a bit. Here is the break down

 

Missie Command: 10 Minutes (My brother beat me, I resigned, my reflexes were lacking)

Space Invaders: 10 Minutes (Did pretty well, my brother kept dieing thou forcing us to restart)

Warlords: 18 Minutes (Beat my brother 6-2 in one round, it got close at some parts)

Cocktail, the ones that are at table height.. you sit down and the screen is in the middle with the controls at each of the ends.

Who here would agree with me that Warlords is single handily the best game for the Atari 2600? I can just play it for hours with friends.

Hey guys it has been awhile since I have been on. I have an Atari 2600 Jr in great condition with a set of paddles, joysticks, all hookups, female to male converter for newer tvs, Games; Air Sea Battle, Star Voyager, Donkey Kong, Yars Revenge, Adventure, Centipede, missile command, space invaders, vanguard, warlords, combat, and jungle hunt. I have a huge interest in vintage computing as my friend has a few old models from late 70s, and even an IBM from the 60s (Huge tower one, plugged it in, blew a fuse, lights went out, long story ). But anyway I am willing to trade this all away for an Atari 8bit Computer (any model) with a few hookups and maybe some goodies. Any takers?

So I can get a converter so that my RCA plug will plug right into my cable thingy that the cable line is plugged into? Then I can ditch the switchbox?

I am now the proud owner of an atari 2600jr. I have a switchbox and all of the hookups but I have no idea how to hook it up. I have a very modern tv and I read that you can buy some thing from radioshack that hooks to the switchbox that hooks to the tv. Need your help guys I'm confused .

Uh a 100 on your scale. Its very tricky, I do mean tricky! You will be lucky to even get something on the screen if you go with the 2705 assembly route. Try batari basic it combines a bit of assembly with some BASIC.
