  1. Get an adapter for using Playstation 2 controllers on the Gamecube.
  2. I wonder if that means Gamecube controller support will also be eliminated. Possibly.
  3. I basically want the kind of game that never ends, where the only thing that would make me turn away from it is just getting bored, but to have the ability to generate new content that would keep me from getting bored with it too quickly.
  4. It's definitely something that only hardcore classic gamers will most likely buy rather than the general public that's more interested in the latest hottest piece of gameware. But I still would like to see Atari 2600 games get some modern console loving, which they are hardly getting.
  5. Well, the downside is that you need a boot disc to go with the Gameboy Player.
  6. It should read "Top 10 Worst Game Systems". A console is what you put in your living room and hook up to your TV. Basically brain-dead thinking that comes with thinking "game system equals console".
  7. Probably apart from watching old TV shows and movies that most people won't care about, I don't see the appeal of having Netflix on any handheld portable device.
  8. Maybe if the game was signed by the "original programmer", it might justify that price amount.
  9. Or a "duel" release, seeing which one turns out to be the better translation.
  10. Honestly, would it have turned out to be at least as good as the 2600 version? Coleco's INTV releases didn't exactly inspire anyone's confidence that they could.
  11. I'll settle for the cheap gold-looking plastic.
  12. Would I have bought this game for the Intellivision if it was released back in the day? Probably more as a Smurf collector than as a serious gamer.
  13. Paint a Guy Fawkes moustache and soulpatch onto the unpainted Smurf face and you'll have the Smurf version of V For Vendetta.
  14. Not bad, even without the arcade machine bling.
  15. Not bad. It's like a consolized Gameboy Advance version of the game.
  16. Defender II on the Atari 2600 is only playable to me on an emulator with a GlovePIE script mapping out all its controls onto a modern gamepad.
  17. There are still typing tutor programs, mostly for PCs, if you like Mavis Beacon.
  18. Humorous use for the controller storage area. I wonder if that's also to supercool the 5200 processors.
  19. Yeah, that's the kind of reimagined Donkey Kong game I'd like to see.
  20. Interesting hack done with an Atari 2600 Jr. casing and a Jaguar controller.
  21. A good idea, but man, make the 5200 joysticks self-centering analog!
