  1. Since when is it cool to hack anybody's website? Only if you're looking to start trouble.
  2. We're talking about actual in-game drug use, whether it's by an actual real-life drug or some fictional version.
  3. There won't be any difference until Microsoft and Sony introduce their new systems within a few years after the Wii U. Of course, the improvements seen in the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 successor systems may end up being marginal or just picking up on the 3D gimmick that's so popular nowadays. It may end up being the unwanted switch from physical media to direct downloads where only the memory size of the system's hard drive storage (and its stability) is what matters.
  4. I'll wait to see and hear what games will be released for the system first, but it does have some potential.
  5. I get screwed up with button configurations when I have a Playstation 2 controller hooked up to my Wii either through a Gamecube controller adapater or a Classic Controller adapter. With the PS2 controller hooked up through a Gamecube controller adapter: X is A, Square is B, Triangle is X, Circle is Y, L1 and R1 are Z, L2 is L, and R2 is R. With the PS2 controller hooked up through a Classic Controller adapter: Circle is A, X is B, Triangle is X, Square is Y, L1 is L, R1 is R, L2 is ZL, and R2 is ZR. It get massively confusing when I try to play Ocarina of Time. Of course, I now have an Xbox controller daisy-chained through two controller adapters so I generally use that on my Wii. It's too bad there isn't an Xbox 360 wired controller adapter for the Wii, though, because I'd rather use that controller.
  6. Lyrium becomes a drug that keeps the templars under control in the Dragon Age universe.
  7. I see potential for a possible RPG game using the controller in a manner similar to a CRPG, but with the addition of gamepad controls.
  8. If it was possible to play videogames in your head, developers would already be marketing it like crazy. But of course, I wouldn't want to subject myself to constant security updates that need to be downloaded into my head and worry about "head hackers" and a lot of other fun crap that would come with this new technology.
  9. And I guess we'll have to go for Xbox Live Gold in order to get the goods too.
  10. But will hardcore gamers go after a system with a new type of game controller but graphics power that's one generation behind its competitors? I guess we'll have to wait and see what Sony and Microsoft will come up with next that will make the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 seem like yesterday's news.
  11. Watching Toegoff's Let's Play of Witcher 2, it doesn't look like anything of Dragon Age. More like somebody trying to combine elements of an adult Legend Of Zelda with some parts of Dragon Age and other fantasy RPG and hack-and-slash games.
  12. How about an all-in-one implant device that lets you play videogames in your head called, of course...THE HEAD?
  13. If the Columbia Home Arcade controllers are identical to those of the Coleco Gemini, they would require a special Y-adapter that came with the system in order to use the paddle controllers.
  14. Back when getting an Atari 8-bit personal computer was more desirable than the puny Timex/Sinclair 1000 my family got stuck with.
  15. Question is: how would you sync up an Atari 2600 joystick to an Atari 2600 if they were both modified for using Bluetooth?
  16. Looks like a Wii Remote Nunchuk designed by Norelco.
  17. I went by names of the more recognized of game systems or game manufacturers. I left the 16-Bit Generation as that because I saw the SNES and Genesis as being tied for recognition. I didn't list them because they were consoles. I listed them only because they were being seen as what would replace videogame systems at that time. It was only when the NES became popular that game consoles would be seen as a mainstay instead of just a passing fad or a transition into using computers.
  18. Yeah, we don't want remakes that punish us for exploring the use of drugs in a videogame!
  19. This is how I listed the generations: * Pong Generation - Dedicated consoles such as Pong, which were electronic TV games with the programming built in. * Atari Generation - Marked by the introduction and use of programmable/interchangeable cartridges. I broke this up into Part 1 (Atari 2600, Intellivision, and Odyssey 2) and Part 2 (ColecoVision and Atari 5200) * The Crash - when Macs, PCs, Amigas, and Atari STs start to take prominence. * Nintendo Generation - 8 bit consoles. Scrolling graphics become the norm. The beginning is marked in some regards by the introduction of the Famicom. * 16-Bit Generation - 16 bit consoles. An incremental improvement over the last generation. * Playstation Generation - Marked by the introduction of 3d as a major game engine factor. CD-roms begin to replace carts. (N64 excepted) * X-Box Generation - Standardization of 3d. An incremental improvement over the previous generation. Introduction of online gaming. * Wii Generation - Online gaming as an integrated part of the console is the norm. Introduction of motion control systems.
  20. The XEGS is what the Atari 5200 should have been like if they were going to just mod the 8-bit personal computer line into a gaming system.
  21. Because Defender and Defender II both require more than two buttons. NES Defender II only used two buttons, but that's because the developers made it as a somewhat scaled-down version of the arcade original.
