  1. It looks like the Intellivision keypad controller for the modern age.
  2. So far the only multiplayer action that I can play is the Xbox 360 version. I was hoping multiplayer would also be on the Wii version, but it doesn't seem like that's included.
  3. I now got the Wii Battle Grids version of the game, and it's pretty good. Maybe not as good as the Xbox 360 version, but still it's fun enough.
  4. Be glad you're getting the game to come out of all, never mind there being a collector's edition.
  5. With this game and Tron Evolution coming out around the same time, it's surprising that we don't see Mickey Mouse in Tron gear throwing identity discs at his enemies.
  6. Tron Evolution. Even if it's copying the 3D Prince of Persia games, it's still pretty good. Beats the living bits out of the old Intellivision Tron games.
  7. I got my first Atari 2600 as a Christmas present in 1981. My sister Vicky bought Space Invaders for it a day or so after.
  8. Given that I got my Wii about 3 years after its release and my Xbox 360 5 years after its release, I'm not in any big hurry for the three companies to make any announcments for new systems. Maybe Nintendo sometime in the next year or so will make an announcement for its Wii successor.
  9. Just what we need...a comic strip about the Kinect that has zero humor in it.
  10. Okay, now I got it figured out. You're supposed to jump onto the wall and then hold down RT to pull yourself up. Now the game is a bit more fun.
  11. I just got Tron Evolution for the 360, and I wish I could enjoy it, if not for some controller moves that just only seem to work when it wants to, like trying to climb to the ledge by holding down RT while running toward it and then pressing A like you're supposed to, but most of the time it just keeps causing my character to make a wall jump when I don't want him to.
  12. Just thinking whether I should get the one which is basically a series of mini-games or one that is a full-out adventure. I haven't been this tempted by a TRON game since the Intellivision wowed me with Deadly Discs (which I like playing), Maze-A-Tron (which could have been done better), and Solar Sailer (which I didn't get to enjoy much of when my INTV II died). Of course, there was TRON 2.0 for the PC and Xbox, but it wasn't much of a reason for me to take the plunge into getting an Xbox back in the day.
  13. There's actually an adapter for using Wii Classic Controllers on your Wii or Gamecube for Gamecube games, but I wouldn't recommend it. Me, I prefer getting an adapter for using Playstation 2 controllers on the system, or the one that lets you use Xbox controllers by daisy-chaining it to the Playstation 2 controller adapter.
  14. Nothing classic. I was playing Animal Crossing on both the Nintendo Wii and the DS waiting for "midnight" while I was also watching a live webcam of the Times Square ball drop. Excellent fireworks.
  15. Which door do I pick...the one with the Wii version or the one with the Xbox 360 version? Hmmm...
  16. I'm not sure how you would handle Mr. Turtle or Smurf Play & Learn, given that we know so very little about how these games would be played...besides the latter game using arithmetic lessons.
  17. The trailer tells me nothing about the game, either. For all I know, it could end up being an RTS game.
  18. I vote for the resurrection of the Turbo Touch 360 for modern consoles.
  19. This game's now making me want to get a PC that's made exclusively for gaming.
  20. I don't like the idea of wanting to go back to the days of when games required having a second human player around to play them with.
  21. While somewhat off-topic, I was imagining what a low-polygon Nintendo 64-ish Dragon Age: Origins done in the same style as the Nintendo 64 Zelda games would look like.
