My grandmother had colon cancer too, she recovered thank god. I wish you and your family the best of luck!

 

Thank you for the kind words. I'm hoping I'll be able to see her some time this weekend. Hopefully her condition has improved and she's healed up enough to eat solid foods...I'm sure after she can get some real food in her she'll be feeling a lot better.

 

From what my mother was saying, she will have to go for chemo...ironically enough, I got a letter from the Red Cross yesterday about a blood donation I gave last week, apparently I have a lot platlets in my blood which patients who are going through cancer treatment need, so needless to say I'm definitely going to be donating my platlets...who knows, they could save my grandmother!
