I'd like to get Missile Command: Trak-Ball so that I can play Missile Command the way it was ment to be played. But I do not have a trac-ball controller, yet. So, which is better the CX-80 or the CX-22?

If you wanna go that route... the 5200, 7800 and Jaguar weren't released in Canada either...

 

The 7800 part can't be true. I got it for christmas one year and I live in Winnipeg. I'm also pretty sure I saw the Jaguar at Toys R Us since I remember coveting it.

I picked up a 7800 locally today and the only problem is that one of the prolines is missing the top cap that goes on the stick. So, does anyone have a trashed proline from which they could remove the cap or a loose cap they could send me? I could send you a pole position II cart since I got 2 with the 7800 or a loose common 2600 cart. I'm sure theres something I could give in return for it if you have one to spare.

Looking for games for any system I have Atari 2600, SMS, Genesis, SNES, NES, Saturn, or Sega CD. However I am more interested in getting a system I don't have such as a Atari 7800, N64, coleco, intellivision etc, pretty much anything would be good.

[Best way to sell a massive collection?]

I recently shipped 4,000 cards and it only cost me 20$ cdn. I can't imagine that it would cost that much more in the states. You're probably looking at 50$ US tops for the lot shipped. That said if you have the time it is much more profitable to sell cards individually, unless of course you have entire sets. In that case it is best to sell complete sets.

The main difference between cart and cd based systems is cost to manufacture the physical games. As long as CD's, DVD's etc are cheaper to make than cart based games then CD's and DVD's will be the way to go.

Sounds like you have 4 perfectly fine working Atari's. I remember seeing that same line in my asteroids game as well. So I just plugged it in and checked and I got the same thing as your screenshot. I've seen a similar line on a few other games, though most games do not have it.

I'm not sure if this the right place to mention this but there's a scan of a label variation missing. It's nothing big just Imagic - Dragonfire is missing the no picture varient.

Demon attack is by far my favorite Imagic cart that I own. I haven't played no escape so it kind of wins by default.

Yes, it's an Atari 830 acoustic coupler modem, which had a maximum speed of 300 baud.  Seemed an appropriate graphic to use for the forums (we had a tough time coming up with something that would be apt here!)  I never had an Atari 830--my first modem was an Atari 1030.

I had to look at the darn thing for a few seconds before I figured out what it was. Maybe it make more sense to people if it had a phone on it. Though thats just my opinion.
