  1. Actually, i just might want this at that price. I've been trying to find a turbograpfx 16.
  2. Sure, shoot me a message when you know if they work or not.
  3. I was watching much music today and they showed badly drawn boys new video called you were right. To my surprise they had a 4 switch 2600 in it. Odd how these things can just show up.
  4. Ok heres my guess. Theres 12 trick or treaters. but theres 14 listed because of the repeaters. The 12th one is asteroids. Since supermans homeworld was destroyed by an asteroid he was sent as an extra terrestrial to earth. Using powers of deduction that are beyond my simple mind someone might have been able to come up with this in the first place.
  5. Good to hear, although I'm hoping you don't get "taxed" too heavily for what I sent you in trade for the GG. Well hopefully you didn't declare the carts as being worth 200$
  6. Oh, don't worry about it. Nothing for you to apologize for at all about. I wasn't bothered by the tax thing. Just the fact that the goverment charges more for a "handling fee" than they do for the actual tax. It definatly won't stop me from participating in any more contests
  7. Heh, I bet you'ed have fun with Rorschach tests
  8. Well they take the value a person declares on the package and apply the exchange rate on it then they tax it pst and gst, each of 7%. It only added up to 4$ so thats not what bothers me. The fact that they charge a handling fee for it is what gets me. Why do I put up with it? Universal health care.
  9. Sega Genesis consoles are everywhere around here. I can go get about 5 genesis' for 4$ canadian each right now. Which works out to about 3$ american. The same place is selling a Super Nes for 20$ cdn or around 15$ us.
  10. Thanks again for putting on the contest sniderman. One of the best packing jobs i've ever seen for anything. Though custons opened up the package and charged me 4$ in taxes. No biggie. Well then they charge me 5$ for handling. Sigh, I have to pay the government for the privilidge of getting taxed. Though I'm not bitter, I'm very happy to have 2 more games.
  11. My friend has finished the new gameboy metroid. He says that although it not that long and takes maybe 3 hours the first time through it's still stellar, one of the best games he's played period. I've played the castlevania games and both of them are fantastic.
  12. If we're talking desperation here, please let it be Beany Bopper! It has to be Beany Bopper! No one is going to get it right at this point with whats there so I might as well say the game I'd like to pick up most
  13. Deadly Duck? Please let it be Deadly Duck. It has to be Deadly Duck.
  14. The Q*bert is pretty good. It has wear around the edges. I'd say a 6 for it. The Popeye isn't in that great of shape since it has small part of the left hand corner missing. Though it has less edge wear than the Q*bert. If it wasn't for the corner i'd give it a 6 but since it has the ding then it's a 4. Both have an odd spotting which I guess is the glue that was used but then I don't know anything at all about coleco. The popeye has more spotting than the Q*bert.
  15. The only things I have that you might need are Air Raiders INTV and Super Challange Football INTV.
  16. If anyone has an extra copy of deadly duck that they wouldn't mind parting with for relativly cheaply I would love to get it. I collect duck things so this would be a nice addition to both that and my atari collection. The only question is where I would keep it .
  17. I accidentally bought Popeye and Q*bert for the coleco thinking they were atari games. If anyone want to swap a couple atari carts for them send me a message.
  18. Yup, that totally helps. Looks like I picked up 2 coleco carts by mistake. Anyone want to swap Q*bert and Popeye for atari in exchange for these 2 coleco carts?
  19. Anyone know the differance between atari and coleco carts? Cos this Popeye and Q*bert are really confusing me. The carts look like the ones on atari age but the bottom is missing the two familiar guide prongs and they have 2 plastic guides on the label side on each side of the PCB.
  20. Silvery white for Q*bert and yellowish for popeye.
  21. I picked up a few games today at a used book store. I haven't had any issues with atari carts fitting in the 2600 till today. Is this a common problem? The games I had problems with were: Venture - red label: Goes in but fits really snug. Need a good push to get in and a good tug to get out. Jungle Hunt: Only goes in if I remove the top of the atari. Even then very hard to get back out. Infiltrate - blue label: Just won't go in. Looks like the little legs are wider than on most other carts. Popeye and Q*bert from Parker brothers: Have what look like 2 fins coming out from the label side going towards the contact. Are these carts just odd or is my atari odd? Are the Parker brothers carts for some other system? I'm just surprised that this is happening. I just didn't really expect games not to "fit".
  22. My guess as to why its superman .. Because he too wears a costume which ties nicely into halloween.
