DOH! I totally forgot George is a running back! oesii: Can I edit his yardage or is what I put down set in stone?

I'm more of a baseball fan than football but I can't resist competing at fantasy sports with friends. The same group of us always does baseball, football and hockey fantasy sports. It's kind of funny that I like baseball the most. I've never played baseball but did 6 years of football. As for being on a roll, well I hope it lasts but I really doubt it will. It's nice to pick up some carts though, especially since I'm just starting out in collecting. Even if it takes me 4 hours to win a darn contest like the bride of frankencart one, that was grueling. Picking football game winners compared to that contest is a cakewalk.

Well since I'm already doing this on yahoo fantasy sports this should be easy. Buffalo (-3) vs. New England : Buffalo Tampa Bay (-7) vs. Minnesota : Tampa Bay Houston (-3) vs. Cincinnati : Houston Indianapolis (-3) vs. Tennessee : Indianapolis Oakland (-3) vs. San Francisco : San Francisco Tie-Breakers: Peyton Manning's total passing yards : 233 Eddie George's total running yards : 172

Pinky: Come on guys, this is the only night we can go out and fit in! Inky: I don't know about this place, something just doesn't feel right. Clyde: Candy, candy, candy! I looove candy! Blinky: *sigh* The faster we knock on the door the sooner we'll be eating candy. Why do the ghosts chase pacman? Well every year after a hard nights work pacman just comes in steals their candy and gobbles it all up! Poor little ghosts.

Ugh, no wonder I had a hard time with it. I was going from right to left rather than straight down in a column in identifying the games. Thanks for putting on the contests snider-man, it was a pleasure being a contestant even though I may have bruised my brain by trying to solve this for hours on end As well I would like to thank the people of #mp3uk for helping me get Amidar, g33k also from irc in finding the label for picnic, which most people swore was burger time. Last but not least Cupcakus from this message board for sharing Allia's Quest with me, which I would not have figured out on my own since I didn't even think to look at homebrews. -

Oh I've got all 12 but you made the second part even harder than identifying the carts which was pretty darn hard in itself! -

2. The cuttle card had enough RAM and smart bankswitching software to play just about every game ever made for the 2600... while a modded supercharger only gets you non bankswitched games (2k and 4k) The mod doesn't look like its too hard to do so that wouldn't be too much of a problem. What exactly does non bankswitched games mean? As well what percentage of games are bankswitched? A very rough estimate would be more than fine.

1. I would like to do the nes controller hack. Are there any websites that show pictures of how this is done? I'm not horrible with a soldering iron but the last time I did it was in 9th grade electronics more than 8 years ago so a few pictures would go a long way in helping me. Also has anyone done it and if so was it nice and responsive? 2. I know you can't get a cuttle cart anymore but the supercharger shouldn't be too hard to find. Does the supercharger work pretty much the same as the cuttle cart in terms of loading roms onto it?

All the power to you. It would be neat if you could achieve it and have an end product. I'm sure you could get most of the parts fairly easy but theres probably going to be a few that are going to be really hard to get. Im sure for joe user this would not be cost effective but if you end up with something really unique it would be well worth it.

eric_ruck: I have never even heard of a Vectrex until today. MegaManFan: Last time I plugged it in everything worked flawless. I'll check it out tonight just to make sure. Theres just 2 games as mentioned in the first post. As for how many commons? I don't know, what would be fair?

StanJr: I'd like to thank you for your time and effort in looking around for the cart for me. I really appreciate it. I can honestly understand why people would be very wary about just giving games away from their collection. When I was a kid, about 8, I took my paper route money and bought myself a nintendo. I had an atari but wasn't using it much after getting the nes. Well my father asked me if he could give it to someone who didn't have a lot and he was sure they would have fun with it. I was kind of hesitant about giving it away since I did get it as a christmas gift and had spent a good amount of my own money on carts. Well gave in and gave it to the "needy" kid. They hooked it up and had fun with it when it brought it over. That made me feel better about giving it away. However when we visited the family a few months later they had gotten a nes and the atari was sitting in the box I had brought it over in. Boy was I mad. Maybe I should have asked for my atari back but I didn't. This is one of the few times I have ever felt like i had gotten burnt by being genreous. Now that I'm older it's a lot easier to be more careful as to who to be generous to. Will I ever be burnt again for being generous? I'm sure of it but I'd rather make a few genuine people happy despite a few greedy people. I'm sure that for most people it's pretty easy to spot people who are just trying to take advantage of peoples generosity. Snider-man said it very well in his post above. The people who email you whining that it wasn't fair as to who you gave things to or posting over and over to send them stuff. Personally if someone emailed me and said "Give me stuff." I would just ignore. Now it may sound like I'm trying to defend myself to some extent about asking for a few carts. I'm not, really. If I don't get a single cart from asking it's no loss. Though nothing ventured nothing gained so I don't mind asking. Now if I should get a cart or two I'll be thankful and pretty excited that I have something new to play. That said even if someone said to me that they would sell me some fun to play common carts for reasonably cheap rather than just giving them away I would take them up on the offer. Like I said in my post, I'm much more interested in getting carts that are "classics" for their replay value rather than getting carts for collectings sake.

Same thing with my atari. It has the cast iron on the bottom but it has the thin plastic. Maybe it's a Winnipeg thing so that they survive the cold prairie winters *grin*.
