  1. Centipede is one of my favorite games, even have a full machine in my living room, but why does that one have a badass centipede monster on it and the atari ports have these goofy ball monsters? What other games have drastically different art from their arcade counterparts?
  2. I usually keep two of each kind of label of each kind of game, after that I have a combat tank, creative use of a slingshot and cardboard, that fires them. Usually through windows at kids who turn their CoD games up too loud.
  3. Those are colecovision games, but I'll gladly take them of your hands if you don't have one.

    Qubes for 50

Bummer, was hoping to turn this into a quadrun because I am more of a player than a collector...

    Wanted: Quadrun

Does anyone have a Quadrun they want to trade for something of lesser or much lesser value? PM me wht you'd like to get for it an I'll see if I can match it. Preferably loose as I think it's a fun game, and would like to try it on a console.

    Qubes for 50

Thanks for the info, btw not all carts of the same rarity have the same value do they?
  7. I recently moved, and when I hooked up my atari to the flatscreen, I noticed the game doesn't fit the screen to well, and sits in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Does anyone know how to fit it to screen or at least center it? Thanks!
  8. Also is this a decent find or not worth mentioning?
  9. Just found a red label sealed qbert sealed like new. What's something like this worth?
  10. Oh wow. Sorry guys, messed up the names, similar enough. Well off to shell out $65 or so. Thanks.
  11. That's the page I saw and the price is a bit steep if the $25 AA store harmony cart can be reprogramed.
  12. I thought the Harmony Carts were VERY neat when I stumbled upon them not too long ago, and I finally found the website to order them, but each cart is $60-80. I wondered if the Custom harmony carts were reprogramable ( SD card removable + editable ) so I can get my hands on one. Does anyone have one of these, or tried this? Thanks!
  13. I doubt I could even find some of those in box on ebay!
  14. I have a strange idea! what if Atari rereleased the 2600,nostalogic people will buy them, they become popular,Nintendo, sega and microsoft will start making their own, then there is another video game crash and everything goes back to normal, The 2600 will have another chance to shine!
  15. I'd have to say, if you compare the excalibur frogger to coleco pac man,ms pac, donkey kong,or galaxian: its crap, but if you compare it to coleco frogger, it's moderate; better graphics same gameplay.
  16. atari 3d tic tac toe no matter how many times I try I still don't even understand how I lost...
  17. What immediately came to my mind was: Not only Coleco did that. In fact, I think even Atari did it. Do you know the C64 version of Galaxian? Compare it to the Atari-8bit-version... The C64 version looks and sounds like crap, and it doesn't play nearly as well as the Atari 8-bit version. Yeah, Atari made both versions. I think that's very suspicious, as the possibilites of both machines are very comparable, but the C64 version is FAR inferior. Do you agree? Perhaps this thread can be used to collect some more examples of this "marketing trick"... I hope this is the right board, couldn't figure any place where this thread would fit better... Look what atari did to Pac man on the 2600, then the 5200 I know thats not what you mean but still...
