VS mode is fun, there's one item that causes the line down the middle to shift in the other player's direction. Then as you're trying to accumulate fireworks for a combo, there is another item which causes the screen to swap with the other player. It's quite hectic. Worth the 10 dollar price tag for that mode alone.

Its even harder to be a sniper without screen looking. If you're used to playing on one TV and switch to a 2 system link game, I find it alot harder to win as a sniper.

I hate correcting people but this is a fact of information that I think everyone should know: 500,000 is Gold and 1,000,000 is Platinum.

When I bought a copy of Burgertime for ColecoVision at EB, the two clerks were kind of puzzled at what it was. I guess they must get surprised when they see someone buy a cartridge game, after selling CD games all day.

Yeah the list JerseyDevil put is pretty good. I find Xbox reccomendation lists are always pretty finite in comparison to ps2 lists. I guess its probably due to the 'Japanese effect' of creating die-hard followings of games, and thus varied reccomendations. But still that doesn't make any of the games any less reccomended. Just they'll all be particularly similar.

I think Tin-Star does aswell. The back of the box claims you can use either: a regular controller, a mouse or the super scope. Not that using one over the other would make Tin-Star any better...

I ordered an Atari 5200 from I think Washington and they included the system instruction manual and a burned copy of the Tempest 2000 sountrack in a baggie on the underside of the box. I thought it was a very nice gesture, an odd choice though...

I've been looking for a copy for awhile. It looks like a game that could hold your attention for a good while, just like Dance Dance Revolution. I'm a big fan of all those gimmicky Playstation 2 games, nothing beats drinking with friends and playing games like DDR or EyeToy. But for the manner of you not having a Playstation is the kicker. Personally if no other games interest you then why blow a good chunk of money just so you can do a video version of karaoke? If all the other cool "Revolution" esque games inerest you aswell, i'd recommend the plunge.

Isn't Halo 2 supposed to use it?
