Sorry to bump a 5 year old thread, but another old image was "released": https://arstechnica.com/gaming/2019/04/after-a-lost-atari-rom-leaks-retro-fans-ask-was-it-stolen/?comments=1&post=37263307 -
TI-99/4A - HAM Radio (Hamsoft/Kantronics/MFJ Enterprises)
acadiel replied to Schmitzi's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
The one I have borrowed has software 2.0 on it. I see above you guys have 1.2 and 2.2. Here's the 2.0 ROM. I'm still looking for a manual and PSU specifications for "The Interface" by Kantronics. The sidecar doesn't need a PSU, but "The Interface" terminal unit does need one. Also need guidance on hooking it up to my shortwave so I can see if it still decodes RTTY and CW. kantronics20.zip -

Does anyone have the manuals and software for this? Looking at possibly hooking that Kantronics RTTY unit up. -
Bravo, Tursi. All this literally blows me away. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I'd like four of them. Do you have room to bring to VCF-SE?

Not mine. Corcomp 9900 Mini PES (32K, RS232, Serial - NO disk, NO PSU): https://www.ebay.com/itm/223459954400?ul_noapp=true I do have a PSU spare laying around that I bought for these. Will have to find how much I paid for it. So if you buy this, let me know and I'll research the PSU cost for you.

It's gonna be important to keep an eye on our booth, yes.

I’ll have my stock console there with my copy, so you don’t need to bring an extra. Will also bring a durable joystick and my TI PI just in case we need to do anything.

Unexpanded TI'ers The "Multicart" is for YOU!

Now, that looks nice!!!!! May I get a label from you? -
Some notes - the cassette board is broken in the same place. There are two LEDs. Also note that adding a 32K cart only brings it from 6K to 18K.

Amazing! Ksarul has my old plus. I might have the pictures kicking around here.

Yep, I figured you all have your personal backlogs. I've Tweeted to Tiny Yarou asking him where the binary is and if he would be willing to release source. If I don't hear from him, I'll try translating into Japanese and asking. If I get the binary, I'd be content playing it inside a Tutor emulator right now. Sent from my moto x4 using Tapatalk

I've seen our hardware pushed pretty hard. Although, I'm no Rasmus, and can't tell if he can do it or not, he's done some pretty amazing stuff with our 9900.

A public one doesn't exist for TimXT. Tim needs to fix the issue with the reliance on the physical RS232 device and the dropped character issue, and then what I wound up doing was converting his beta product into a "load to 32K from GROM" module that worked on the 1284P as a GROM image. Done in Classic99, but someone really needs to write some step by step instructions (With snapshots) so others can learn how to do it. As well as mapping the UART to a certain GROM port so that TimXT can see it and use it. For the UberHDX product, look at Fred Kaal's website. He has a binary there with both the 1284P and the EPROM images in the archive.

Yup. The image converter, to the video converter, to all the cartridge work. And bank switching on address and data lines, I'm really gonna want to see a write-up on it eventually, Tursi Sent from my moto x4 using Tapatalk

The reason I brought up Door Door: Since Tiny Yarou did this on the Tutor already, he likely has the graphic and sound assets to get it done for the 4A. The game engine is probably the most work to translate. The soundtrack is really cool and gameplay looks addicting. We would have to get in touch with him to see if he would be willing to share his code. I don’t read Japanese well, and haven’t invested the time to translate everything to even see if there is a ROM for his Tutor port.
