I was watching this video on youtube recently that featured a game that looked a lot like Sonic, but I think it had a pink pig or something?
I know this is not much info, but does this ring a bell for anyone? I'd really like to find it.

I use a mouse on my Atari...

Having played a bit of this, I'm wondering why there are no point and click adventures for my beloved 8-bit.
Sadly I can't get this to boot off my 8Mb flash cart or through APE. Only emulation seems to work. :/

Anybody ever hear of this one before? Is this commercial, or is it a fan tribute? Works great under emulation, yet I can't get it to boot from my flash cart for some reason.

I always enjoyed playing Popful Mail on the Sega CD! One of the best Monster World/Megaman type games I ever played.

I'm about to get my old Intellevisions back and was wondering if there is any good musick software for them, as well as flash cart hardware or something to that effect?
Thankx!

Oh ya, one more good point!
Atari, Amiga, C64...
...no shut down time.

For one, I've got this thing for seeing how far you can push hardware with limited and unique specs. (Nintendo DS, Dreamcast, Amiga, Atari, Commodore 64, etc)
Secondly, I've been using Atari since the 400 which I believe I first laid hands on in 79 or 80.
My third and final reason is that I do musick on these machines, well that and a bit of gaming, but there is always emulation for gaming, but emulation can not replace the pure raw sound of the original chips!

The Mario Clone...
...I got Crownland, and aside of the annoying flicker effect, was VERY impressed!
That makes me a sad panda... :/The Atari needs more platformers.
I believe the programmer decided to cancel the projectIs this project still alive? Is there a web page, download page? I didn't see one in the pages of the thread I read through...Which are you talking about? Crownland was completed, and a very decent game. The SM3 clone made it to the point of a demo with movable Mario sprite (non-animated) and multiple levels to view.

I'd certainly invest in such an upgrade!
Yeah. Now that the MIO preorders are done/shipped, I could concievably devote some time to this if theres really enough interest. We have a 16meg spec for the MIO already.. It would be really kewl to have two 16meg ramdisks simultaneously.. one in the XE and one on the MIO... One of the best things about this proposed XE ram expansion board is that it could be done rather cheaply.. 16meg SIMMs are about $10.00 and expansion board, itself, could probably be made very nicely in the $50-$60 range.. -

Thank you thank you thank you! The ATOS site is dead and I thought I'd never get to play with it.
I figured for people interested in the limited availability of GUI systems for the 8bit, I would post these in one place so they can be enjoyed. The first is the Diamond OS by Reeves software. The zip file has 2 versions of the DiamondOS rom and 2-3 of the Diamond software that was also available. It even has the documentation and development info for the system, along with a forum posting from Alan Reeves about the roms and ATRs.Next is a link to ATOS, to big to upload here. The zip file has 4 different ways to install/use ATOS, both on a HDD or in emulation.
Enjoy!!!

I was aware of a few of these, though as fate has it, I don't read German or Polish. None the less these english titles are new to me...
...Thankx!
What I really had in mind though was something along the lines of Space Quest or King's Quest which the 8-bit version of Another World reminded me of...
...well in looks that is.
