  1. I think I remember a couple years ago there was a big thread where someone found secret writing on some pitfall artwork. Am I crazy, or did this really happen? The thread was huge and there were scans of the code and writing and stuff.

  2. Also wanted to mention, that I found a piece of paper taped on the inside of my Atari on the metal box. i think it has the date my system was built. Sept something 1981. Was this a common thing they put inside units?

  3. I got the S-Video mod from Atari2600.com for Christmas, and just got around to installing it today. It is INCREDIBLE! I never imagined such clarity would be possible. Very well done.

Just wanted to brag about my successful installation :)

    Thanks,

    Jeff

  4. My first Atari memory is my first video game memory. I was at my grandparents house, and my uncles were in the downstairs family room playing M*A*S*H, and they let me try. I must have been like 3 or 4 at the time, but it stuck with me.

  5. This is one incredible machine!!! I've tried both 2600 emus, and using Pitfall as the basis of my judgement, VCS32 is indeed the best 2600 emu for GP32, I am so happy with it. The GP32 is money well spent. Buy one.

  6. gbax.com is THE place to order one from. I got my GP32 (frontlit) in 24 hours from them, I'm in the US, they are in the UK. I got a SmartMedia Card on eBay (128 meg) so I just have to wait for that. This thing looks incredible so far. I am very excited.

  7. I just bought a GP32, solely for the 2600 emulation. I am so excited, I can't wait for it to get here :) I'll let everyone know what I think of It soon :)

  8. Hi Andrew,

In PhotoShop, you can create an action file, which is a string of commands that you can apply to any image, once you make the action file, save it, then it will be accessable forever.

Hope that helps you with the time consuming part :)

  9. Hi guys,

I was thinking about doing a NESPC, but before I set myself on it, are there any good tutorials on building a PC in a gutted six-switcher?

    Thanks,

    Jeff
