i would pay anything for my gba to play atari 2600 games.
-
you KNOW I'm happy about the GBA testing
-
im thinking with the composate a/v output to the screen (if the chip is installed internally) would be ideal IMO. Like I said earlier, I have an extra GBA that is screaming to be experimented on.
-
Just to see it done would be enough for me
-
Andrew, that is awesome that you are willing to help out. So in your professional opinion, do you think the 2600-on-a-chip and gba can work together? Thanks, Jeff
-
but if that happened it would probabally be a pack of 15 or so activision roms, i wanna load my collection of homebrews on to this baby too
-
i would seriously pay for this to be done on gba.
-
i dont know how much it would cost, but if someone with the knowhow to make the chip work with the gba needs funding for a project, tell me, and we can maybe work something out.
-
you sent me that about 8 months ago or so, i really like it, but full, or close to full speed would be nice.

Custom double-ender now has a place to stay ! (BIG IMAGES)

how much will it be? $200? $300? im ready! -
my dream is to play 2600 on my gba, so games that use other controllers wouldn't bother me too much.

i am so in on this, regardless of price, i would kill for this. -
well, i know when you hold start+select as you boot up your gba it goes into a different mode, one of the third party flash cart things uses this feature, perhaps the start+select thing could trigger the chip, and draw the roms from a flashcart.

I have a question that has been on my mind for some time now. Would it be possible to put this chip in a gba, and hook it up to the screen inside and play roms? If anyone thinks it is, I would love to have my gba be the guinnea pig

about 2 years ago i printed out like 15 pages on how to mod the 7800, ill try to find it.
-
i have a 2600, but cant a 7800 be modded to write carts? i think i heard that somewhere.
-
I'm thinking of modding a 7800 to write 2600 games (this can be done, right?), anyone have any tips? And my other question was, Can the synthcart rom be played on the computer? I'm having trouble getting it to work. Thanks, Jeff

Survey:Who got a sixer VCS with ch. sel. slot but no switch?
jeff_a replied to Atari-magari's topic in Atari 2600
Is a sixer without a channel switch rare? I just thought I bought one with a broken switch. The hole is there, but there is no channel selecting button. -
My 2600 is indeed an Atari brand heavy sixer.
-
Very good idea, I definately like it. I'm really excited about this! You rule.
-
ooo, multi cart. I am very excited now.
-
This is what I have been waiting for... I must have one of these. It would rock if you could put a ton of ROM's on there and have a menu on the cart to pick one. But I definately want one of these. Thank you for putting the effort into this project. You rule.
