I wouldn't be surprised if someone decided to release the "Ultimate Pac-Man Collection." Maybe Super Pac-Man could be added and the Pokey sound upgrade. I'd pay $50 for that.

FOR SALE: Older Board Game & Furby - Former Pony Post!
Madaracs replied to the.golden.ax's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
This is the best Marketplace thread ever. Is there a "Hall of Fame" Forum? On another board I'm on, we have a "Hall of Fame" where people can copy and paste the greatest quotes, and threads like this one. -
Is there an ETA of this fantabulous device?
-
Huh cool. Is it backlit then?

This is just so cool I had to share. It's a very tempting piece. Donkey Kong G&W: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220678096689

Nope, but the H2 (Harmony cart 2) is coming, Soon?
-
Nope! Harmony is for 2600 games only. You'll need a CC2 for the 7800. Well dagnabbit. Does the CC2 work with 2600 games? Yes. But you're going to pay through the nose for one ($400++). You're better off waiting until batari finishes the Harmony2 which will do everything the CC2 does. *shuffle* Oh alright.
-
Any chance there will be another batch of these someday?

I get my Harmony cart this week. Will I be able to test the ROM on that?

Got a 5200, console only, not sure where to begin
Madaracs replied to Rex Dart's topic in Atari 5200
I recommend the goat store for 5200 controllers. I just got 2 and they are in great shape. They'll likely need rebuilds--but it's a start. And at $5/ea. You really can't go wrong. http://www.goatstore.com/ -
Yes, they are gold! And yes, they are from Best. I'm also going to be adding a track ball (needs work) and two additional controllers that were not pictured. But it's hard to sell large lots like this right now. I've been watching Eight Bit trying to dump his stuff and without parting it out, I don't think it will do very well. I'm waffling a bit on selling the stuff but really I'd like it to be in someone's home who will give it the proper care it deserves. I of course will consider trades and I'm always looking for homebrew cartridges. I've got a lot of systems and not so much time to give them all the appropriate attention.

Heheh. Too bad they didn't ship the thing with the CX78 joypads the Europeans all got. I have a set of those and they aren't half bad.

Yet another set of Adam controllers Yurkified.

Just bought it. And I bought a copy of Stella's Stocking based on a post you made a little bit ago. I watched a video on YouTube of it and that cart is brilliant!

It seems that our wish has been granted! Thanks, Albert! Totally! Thanks, Albert!

Old news ... that description was changed two months ago. I didn't have any particular problem with the old description, but I'd still like it better if one of the new suggestions (such as my most recent one) were used instead. No need for the 7800 forum to be stuck with an unusually terse description just because a few persnickety individuals couldn't agree on which console was released first, or on what was done by whom in response to what. I'll echo in agreement once again... I like that one best too. I think the current title description is to make a point that AA isn't a democracy. Point taken... but I like the description jaybird3rd noted.

So I started watching all of the Simon & Simon episodes avaialable on Netflix streaming (Seasons 1-4) and Season 1 Episode 2 features an "Arcade" with several AWESOME shots of SPACE FURY. There is a Venture machine right next to it, a Pac-Man in fabulous condition and a Battlezone. Just an FYI if there are any other S&S fans out there... It was pretty fun to see.

No, you take it... I've spent too much money this week! - Pooyan by CollectorVision $60 - Smurf Controller by Yurkie $79 - Coleco Perman Power Battery Pack $15.50 and on, and on. Thankfully I have a storage cabinet with a lock on it so I can hide all this stuff from the old lady. I bought Pooyan too. Surprisingly fun and difficult. I like the Famicom version but the CV one is totally awesome. And a Harmony Cart. $65 Two huge lots of ColecoVision carts totalling more than $100... Argh. One of us should do it. *off to eBay again to look* OK, it's in my sights...

By all means please go for it. I've spent too much money this week!

Thanks for the advice. I might just use the playfield for the score digits (again, the original arcade game only had 4 digits, so I won't be losing anything there). Well, this is exciting. I own a real Monaco GP! As soon as I get my Harmony I should be able to check this out no?
-
It's great! Super fun to play on the CV.

I checked with Ken and it should recognize the Pokey in the Expansion Module. Reeeeeeaaaaallly. Hmmm. So I should git the VE edition?

If you have an ADAM oomputer and ADAM FDD, you can use CopyCart+ D2.0 to copy all carts up to 32K in size. Then you have to transfer the cart rom file to the PC or Mac to place on the SD Cart. If you don't have an ADAM, then you would need to purchase a Rom Dumper and I have no clue which one is the best to go with. Sure someone on here has some experience with these and the best one to purchase. Thanks for the tips. I really want to get an "Expansion Module 3" someday. But they're fairly difficult to find. There's is an Exp. Mod. #3 on eBay right now that's been up for bid for a couple days with no takers. The seller has split everything up into different auctions (think 7 in all), but together they make a complete ADAM if you have the ColecoVision. If you really want an ADAM, I would go after one of the Stan-Alone ADAMs (that have the ColecoVision built-in as well as Composite Video output) as the footprint is a lot smaller. There are a couple of these on eBay right now listed at $125, $50.00 with 2 bids on it and I forget the last one's price. Yeah, I saw the $125 one and it looks nice except that it's missing the cord for the keyboard. Thanks for the help though! I'll keep looking on the eBay.
