Believe him when he says you need -strong- soldering skills too. You'll want to have the right tools to remove the solder from the IC or you'll do what I did... and burn the board beyond repair trying to use braid. It's really worth it to have Yurkie do the repair. Then you don't have to spend $20 in soldering materials--or worse yet buy a new board.

Bottom line is he's using a 20-Year-Old game system with a game of nearly the same age and should expect difficulty with the system unless it's been refurbished as you indicated, Ax. As an Amazon seller are you allowed to dictate terms such as: Tested and working perfectly. Item is used and sold AS-IS. (This is a 20 year old game and I can't guarantee it's functionality on your crappy old Game Gear.) No refunds. ? In this case the buyer should assume full responsibility for the risk in the purchase. It prevents bad buyers (who can't afford a $7 game) from returning it when they don't like it and protects you.
