Connecticut Leather Company! It would be cool to have a tribute game to the company. Maybe a leather case or something. Or maybe a game about killing cows and making leather. Heh. A Minecraft port for the Coleco. *lol* I love my ColecoVision(s). Also my favorite console to play games on. The first time I saw one was at my neighbor's house when I was bout 12 (a couple of years after it had been out.) My favorite games were DK Jr, Turbo and Mouse Trap back then and they also had the Exp Module 1 so we played a lot of Stampede, River Raid and Barnstorming too. My favorite games right now are all of the Homebrews, Super Cross-Force, Subroc, Venture, Spy Hunter, Squish'em Sam and Montezuma--even though Montezuma is damn near impossible to play on the CV compared to say the Apple //c--I enjoy it immensely.

Geography nerd. The post should have read McClean/D.C. Area since those are the two areas I'm in. Didn't mean to lump D.C. in with the Virginians. Thanks for the tips. I'll just send him some dupes when I get back to Minneapolis. We've got 3 Uniques in our immediate area and the pickins are slim for vintage games. I did find 3 Vectrex games once though for 60 cents a piece. So it is good to check those places out once in awhile.

Hey gang, I'm out here in the McLean, Washington D.C. area and I was wondering if there were any good spots to look for used games. I recently gifted a boxed ColecoVision (with switch refurb and controller IC replacement by Yurkie) to a friend of mine out here. The ColecoVision was his system growing up. I also threw in a copy of Montezuma's Revenge... one of his favorites. I'd like to pick up some commons for him so if anyone has suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks!

Seriously? Super Circus Atari Age was announced for the XM *October 2010* - Nine Months Ago - and has been completed since *November 2010*. None of the other games are even completed as of yet. No offense to GroovyBee or Propane13 - GB is a much better programmer for this system than I'll ever be, and Propane13's Arkanoid is on it's way to being a great release. But after trying to put off anyone wanting a Stand-Alone release to have a COMPLETED game for the launch of the XM, I'm starting to wonder why I even bothered. Would it have hurt sales so much to have one GB screenshot, one Propane13 shot and one of my shots? Anyway, what's done is done and it really doesn't matter. I have a sneaking suspicion that your body of work will gross more than the XM units themselves anyway. You make the best games, Bob.

It looks like a strange version of the Commodore 64C...maybe an early release or a prototype of some sort. Very cool! EDIT: I have seen the 64C with the dark keys before, but never with the rainbow badge. A friend of mine who is a C64 expert enlightened me: So the manual in one of the photos shows what the C64c should really look like. This was just an aftermarket kit for it.

For what, a free network not being available? Doubt it, and like you said there is pages of text you have to "agree" to before activating a credit card, you can bet Sony has their ass covered. Can't imagine any lawsuits sticking. Maybe if you were paying for the network you could file a lawsuit, although had Sony charged a fee for the use of the network and had the cash to support, maintain, monitor and upgrade it. Probably wouldn't be in this mess. The PSN had been a failed model from the start if you ask me. It was doomed to fail. Wanna bet you'll pay a monthly fee for the PSN when the PS4 hits? Although, these big companies aren't exactly known for learning from their mistakes so maybe not. My guess is, if anything, they'll kick everyone a free $5-$10 Sony Store title. You can be sued even if there is an agreement. Criminal Neglegence in the design of their system. Trust me, you can be sued for anything--agreement or no.
