  1. It will never happen!!!! :-)
  2. Got my Koozie today!!!!!!!!! Yeah baby!!!! It's a major award!!!! The package said, "FRAGEEEEL", I think it's Italian. I put it in the window, and made sure it looked great from across the street :D :D
  3. Bowers are gay :-) ha ha ha The Jack of the trump suit is the highest card value in the game, it is guaranteed to take a trick. No other card can beat it. That is called the right bower (Or the left, I can't remember, but it's the good one) The Jack of the opposite suit, but same color (Clubs if trump is Spades, Hearts if trump is Diamonds, Etc...) is the "left" bower, and is the second most powerfull card in the deck. Nothing beats it but the right bower. If you think this is complicated :-) Try Pinochle!!!! That goes Ace 10 King Scince when does a 10 beat a king???? ha ha.
  4. You can probably just ask Eric :-) I didn't know it had an ending :-) I can get past 8 skeletons, but 80... :-) I'm not sure, never played it that long. But now that you say there are 80 :-) I may have to try my luck at it.
  5. I can't find any other space shuttle cheat at that link :-) Trying to take credit again, for my work :-) I see how it is. I thought about 6 docks for one, but the object of my cheats are that you still get to "play" all the elements of the game, there is just no danger of losing. In my Solaris, you get to play the whole game, there is just no chance you can lose... Same with Pitfall!... If I gave you 6 free dockings for the price of one, you havn't really played the game... the satellite gets NUTS after the third docking, and I think you should have that experience. And... of course... What if Commander isn't your goal at all? :-) Besides I do this mostly because have fun crawling around the binary in a hex editor, dissasembling the code in my head, trying to translate hex values into opcodes to find the perfect place to instill a cheaters hack :-) When I have enough Cheaters Anonymous titles, I will release a cart containing them all. :-)
  6. Yes! I'm back at it for you closet cheaters out there :-) I see no reason in the world, why those of us less fortunete to not have the great game skills of our companions to not be able to see the later levels, and end screens we are entitled to :-) Allow me to bring that joy to you. **************************************************** Cheaters Space Shuttle Infinte Fuel on Game 3. Earn the rank you always wanted!!! **************************************************** Available for download on my web site. http://www.atariage.com/~clarkin Double Dragon coming soon!!! As soon as I can narrow down how it works, the lives/health memory address "moves" locations, so it's hard to track down a place to mod the code. Every time I think I have it something else happens as a result. The current version I have now give you 16 lives and full health every screen, but does not display the mission titles for each mission, it just progresses through each screen as if it was the same level... I will get this one working soon, I promise!!!! And as always, I make these hacks by request. PM Me if you're ashamed to be a cheater, I won't tell on you :-) If there is a game you always wanted a high score on, or to finish but never could because of the difficulty, let me know and I'll help you out :-)
  7. A David Winter exists. If you google for "David Winter" AND Atari you e.g. find this: http://www.atarihq.com/rgvc/profile/david_winter.html http://www.myatari.net/issues/jun2002/pong.htm IMO it's safe to say: The man is not a fake. Ha ha ha ha ha! Wayyyy too much time on your hands :-) So who's gonna bug him for proof?
  8. I noticed that inconsistancy too :-) but I ignored it as maybe he's had this proto for some time and "remembers" playing it a while ago... still highly suspect though.
  9. I don't know if those shots are possible with flicker :-) Who is David Winter anyway? If you read his Pong-Story even that is highly suspect :-) He gives credit to Ralph Baer for inventing the video game, when he didn't even build a video game machine until 1966, almost 14 years after Tennis for two. But because Ralph Baer claims to have thought of the idea in 1951 he is the inventor :-) Silly...
  10. As I posted to the Stella list, I have a strange inkling this is a fake... The color variations seem impossible... and once again, we have someone else unwilling to release the ROM. If the ROM would only be released to a reputable source, like Al or Thomas or Tempest and they could verify it's authenticity I would feel a lot better :-) We know a ROM exists, because those screen shots are obviously taken from an EMU, and he even states, he played it in Z26. So just fork up the binary to one person if you don't want it public :-) that would curb the doubt in my mind. If it is legit, lets not forget that Atari used flicker dilligently. Something a lot of you are trying to forget :-) most of the above solutions are solutions without flicker, if they gave each color one frame, it would have so much flicker it may be unplayable, but the design would work then.
  11. My wife and I said I should do this game on the 2600 as a joke :-) The end result of whomever does this, would obviously be a terrible parody. :-) Can you imagine trying to dance to the clicks and dings of the 2600 sound system :-) hilarious.
  12. I own a SW upright, and it was the proudest purchase I ever made. :-) It's my dream to own a cockpit cabinet for it :-). Both panels are easily remade, however sparing the decals is a big issue. I'd have to take a look at it to see, and we might be able to find some side pannels on a DOA SW cab that we can take. Please, feel free to e-mail me privately.
  13. Well we all knew it was going to happen eventually :-) When can I get Qb? :-)
  14. Star Wars Cockpit!!!! Falling Apart!!!!! I've been crying ever scince I read that :-( If you need help restoring it let me know, I restore that stuff for a living :-) that is the worst news I've heard all day.
  15. Definetly the best the 2600 can do on Euchre, and the AI is top notch. If I wasn't a cheap bastard I'd stop playing it emulated!!! :-)
  16. Hey I gotta admit that's a nice video MattyXB had posted a couple of videos of his where he gets the Yar, the initials etc. But that's the first I've seen where an ENTIRE game gets played So what do you guys use to record your games again? was it pcaewin? Yep PCAEWin.... It's a little dissapointing I had to wait 4 minutes in the map room for the sun, but so is life. :-)
  17. I don't relish the thought of having to find a 2600 light gun to play this game... I'd rather it work with standard equipment. Unless you plan to sell Light Guns with it some how.
  18. Activision used a different glue then Atari did, which is why it is most commonly seen on Activision titles... I have never seen an Atari label with Acti-Plaque, but I wouldn't rule it out.
  19. $400... lord all mighty... :-) I'd rather have a new kick ass PDA :-)
  20. Acti-Plaque is pretty much only an Activision phenomenon. Which is how it got the "Acti" portion of it's name... almost every Activision cartridge these days have that problem.. not much you can do about it either... You can reglue the label to prevent further corrosion, but that's about it.
  21. There was a game like that available for DOS a long time ago :-) you had to kidnap children and sell them for money :-) as well as rob banks, and sell drugs...
  22. It's waterworld for cryin out loud :-) I'd rather play Pac-Man!
  23. I think it's all in good fun, and I'm excited to get it... :-) After all, in splinter cell you interrogate people in a choke hold and then put a cap in their head. I don't condone that anymore than killing whales, but it's fun to play none-the-less. :-)
