Did you get it to work? I tried the Atari850.hnd and it works fine ... If you rename it to AUTORUN.SYS

Yes you can. APE has a built-in Telnet client that you enable in the Ape R: section so you can load ICE-T, go to terminal mode, hit the <RETURN> key and you should see the APE outbound telnet menu. Then use a command like:

 

OPEN bfbbs.no-ip.com

 

to login to an internet bbs.

 

I run APE, R: is ready, boot ice-t, but ice-t i cant continue, because not R: handler.. hm. i have 320kb ram, sio2pc in COM1

@w1k - I also have the dreaded vertical banding problem with several (as in all that I have tested) of my machines. Most are stock, one has a super video mod as well as the RF modulator removed. I still cannot get a decent picture on any LCD screen I try, and even my newish Toshiba widescreen HD CRT has the lines. My trusty old Commodore 1084S and Capehart 13" dial tuner TV from 1985 displays the Atari image crystal clear.
