  1. It's going to be a while, but I'll post when my S Electronic 4000 pong machine comes in the mail. I hope the topic will be alive by then.....
  2. More like the only good game by Data Age. Sorry, I still cant get over spending my birthday money on BUGS back in the day.
  3. I bought one a while ago. My kid comes home with stories every once in a while about kids wearing 80's tees and having no idea what they are. Just the other day he told me this story: "Today, I saw Eric wearing a Ghostbusters Teeshirt. " Me: O RLY? " Yeah. I asked him if he liked the Stay Puft Marshmellow man scene, and he said he didnt know who that was. I asked him more stuff and he had no idea who Ghostbusters were." Me: Blasphemy! THIS IS MADNESS! OMGUNDAMBBQFTWROFLMAO1337COPTER!!!! Ok, maybe my own lines are exagerated a bit

  7. Since my entire collection almost consists of classic games, the only modern game system I have is the PS2, and I always buy them used. You can get yesterday's killer apps for today's low low prices. CHEAPNESS FOR THE WIN! If only I can figure out how to post youtube videos here......
  8. *insert obscure movie reference here*
  9. I wish to buy only from online sale websites (I.E. Ebay,), I will not buy games from forum members unless they are a member of the 3rd part site due to being ripped off by members from other forums (that's the reason I'm here and not on other sites, dont take any offense). Paypal is preferred. Thanks in advance!
  10. Bugs by Data Age. I remember buying this with my birthday money because the box looked sooooo cool. I brought it home, and it worked only 40% of the time and the Gameplay was SHIT. I wasted all of my birthday money on that game only to be met with disappointment. I cried HARD because Sears wouldn't take it back. Still brings tears to my eyes today
  11. Microsoft Wii? It seemed pretty obvious to me when they came out with the Microsoft Mii.......
  12. DAMMIT! There are no stores within 100 miles of mah house!
  13. Since Kollar said that they would be selling the 3000 side by side with the Go, I'm pretty sure that there are going to be UMD versions. PSP Go Video In the video, he mentions that he is well aware that some people are not going to like the changes so they are still going to be selling the 3000 model. If I were going to buy a new PSP, I would go with the 3000. The homebrew community just about has that thing cracked with m33 CFW, it already has ChickHEN support.
  14. I'm not sure if I want to look at your face..... Im sorry, but your post has warranted this uber internet laugh: OMGUNDAMBBQFTWROFLMAO1337COPTER!!!!!
  15. So I take it you are the parent in this case? I got the feeling initially you were the older brother maybe... again I apologize for getting personal but to take a handle of the situation you have a lot of choices and you have to remember, you are the boss of them... it really does come down to being that simple. In my house, no TV or videogames until after homework and any chores are completed and then very often depending on how school and other things are going, no videogames on the weekdays. with the weather getting warmer here in the east, it is time to go outside and play too. the video games will be enjoyed and appreciated a lot more if you set limits and timelines. maybe there should be set times where they can all get together and turn it up load for a certain period of time and then after that, they have to be quieter. This is not something that can be done overnight, it takes time to delineate boundaries and rules and to be sure that everyone gets a voice and gets to do what they want to do. Video games can be a great part of family time, especialy with games like Guitar hero but maybe, your kids can see the fun with atari too if you spend time playign with them. maybe a half hour of GH and then a half hour of an old school game that multiple people can play. On one recent thanksgiving we busted out the Flashback II on the big screen tv and the whole family sat there and played atari to great gales of laughter and shouting... it is all about balance try a 4 player game of Warlords with your kids and I defy them not to have fun... or tank battle... or see who can get the farthest in pitfall?? I have spent way too much time in the past trying to be my kid's friends, but I'm kind of slowly realizing that sometimes I need to take control of them. Hey, that's a good idea though, I'll take away their GH and replace it with Atari. Make them enjoy the classics. I would enjoy an old fashioned 2 player Atari session, I haven't had one of those since 1989 with my little brother..... Wait.... I came here to talk about Atari, but now I'm getting parenting lessons????? WTF....
  16. Yeah, but those are kids. Eventually, reality has to set in and tell you that pushing around Hot Wheels cars won't make you a NASCAR driver. I accept that attitude from a kid, because kids don't know any better. But just imagine 11 of those little bastards in your house every day, playing guitar hero on your big screen tv with the audio all the way up. THEN, having them disrespect you and your Atari stuff. Welcome to my life on Weekdays. That sounds like an issue in your house...not a problem with the games, and certainly not the death of rock music as we know it. Maybe ask them to turn it down? Possibly play somewhere else? Beat you to it, I threw the little bastards out of my house. They are BANNED. My kids are really angry though
  17. You're talking about TWO completely different things. As a parent, in my house, we have times for games and times for going outside and all that sort of thing. Kids without parental supervision are assholes... I agree completely. It has nothing to do with the games they are playing and everything to do with their parents. Guitar hero did not do anything to music except to make it even more accessible, the same way MP3 encoding and the internet did. This is just yet another natural progression and melding of mediums. Your beef with these ill-behaved children are completely legitimate and I feel for you, I really do, but imagine yourself in the 70s when your awesome Atari stuff was blamed for the same thing. You can't blame bad behavior on the TV... it has been a scapegoat for far too long in this country. Go the the source, the parents! Im sorry if I was extremely angry, the kids are in my house RIGHT NOW. They keep playing Run to the Hills over and over again, these annoyances make it really easy to be pissy and take out my anger on boards. Ima going to throw them out.......
  18. You are exactly the kind of person I am ranting against. That is pure and utter bullshit and frankly, there is no difference between a child of today claiming superiority on GH than a kid of yesterday claiming to be a member of THE KISS ARMY. That is WRONG thinking. it's snooty and overblown. Get over it already. It is just a game and kids are having FUN with it. If you haven't seen my above post, blow it. I gave you room to rant, didnt call out your bullshit, so give me my time.

  20. What really brings my piss to a boil is when kids who play Guitar Hero think they're such hot shit. They act like they are experts on the subject of rock music, then when you ask them in depth about it they stumble and stutter and then they call you a dumbass and they walk away. Then, they say that they are automatically rock stars if they can play expert on guitar hero. What's even worse, they then claim that they are better than REAL guitar players because of that. Then you give them a real guitar, some sheet music and you tell them to play. The little bastard child will say: Real guitar is LAME. Then they walk away thinking that they are better than god himself. Guitar Hero has ruined Rock and Roll as we know it.
  21. The blowjob? Hey, what ever you can do to get the game "turned on"
  22. In other news, the reason I think Sony lost that much is one of two things: when Sony announced the initial price of $600, it completely ruined the prospect of getting the system for me. The second, because of the lack of compatibility with the PS2, I had little reason to invest in it. Coupled with the fact that many of the great games I can get on that system, I can also get on the 360. Few great exclusives + High price + No backwards compatability __________________________ No sale
