  1. I believe sooner or later Steem will have a full Mega STe emulation because STeven is very hardworking
  2. I would say that Steem in 16Mhz mode should be noticeable faster than Mega STE, because (as mentioned earlier) the only CPU works at 16MHz and the cache works there in "write-through" mode. In that mode, every time when the CPU writes data to the RAM it is slowed down by it.
  3. ok, it works. I've checked the latest XnView and I see that it still doesn't save the STE 12bit color palette and truncate it to 9bit.
  4. yep, but that tool allows you to verify easily whether they were converted correctly e.g. Gem-View https://www.atariuptodate.de/en/768/gem-view more you can find there: https://www.atariuptodate.de/en/image
  5. you can check your PI1/2/3 files on my website, just drag'n'drop them: http://260ste.atari.org/
  6. I wonder whether would be possible to squeeze the STE motherboard to the short ST size
  7. How to do that? I'm also interested how to enable Pi1/2/3 in XnView.
  8. there are @AnimaInCorpore online tools where you can convert jpg to a different Atari formats: http://atari.anides.de/ http://tool.anides.de/
  9. Steem https://sourceforge.net/projects/steemsse/ and Hatari https://hatari.tuxfamily.org/
  10. I wonder how they calculated the frequency: 28000Hz * (freq. const. / 65536) = output frequency and for frequency constant = 0001H they get 2,34Hz oscillator frequency My calculation gives different result: 28 000,00 * ( 1 / 65535) = 0,427252613
  11. I would see stereo sound output or the BLiTTER from the beginning
  12. @davidcalgary29 interesting can you show more pictures?
  13. do you mean this one? https://atarigamer.com/lynx/play/LynxTaxiMovieDemo/442159240 looks cool
  14. ok. clr instruction is buggy in 68k, I wonder what would it be if you use e.g. "move.l" instead. "CLR instruction always reads from an operand before clearing it" http://www.easy68k.com/paulrsm/doc/trick68k.htm nice hint. thanks
  15. what was wrong with that sync flag ?
  16. it seems the exxos forum is down just for the record (it is not mine): A new display:
  17. @Albert may I kindly ask you to clear this thread from all of out off topic posts? @Tillek may I ask you to stop spamming and off-topic this thread?
  18. actually Amiga has only a poor on/off low-pass filter . e.g. Atari STe has two filters - treble / bass, each with 12 steps
