That's interesting. I've read on many occasions that the ST1 did not ship with a fan. Anyway, I'd really like to have this machine silent. What type of fan am I looking for and where would I begin to look for it? Thanks!

Trying to use this computer to write MIDI music and the fan noise is driving me up the wall. Any known method to getting these units silent? Why was the ST1 fanless and ST2 not? I can't imagine the extra ram causing more heat. Do they have different PSUs? I would consider either pulling the plug on the fan, or replacing it with a silent fan? Thanks in advance!
