  1. Ok thanks for the fast reply....I guess that would work with a dvd player too? maybe? Is there a connector adapter from the coxial like on the atari direct to scart? How are the video and audio signals divided and sent out on the coaxial connector from the atari...if i knew that, i could make a connector.


  2. Hi all I'm new to this forum but of course have been playing games since they came out (born in 1971). I recently picked up two games (air sea battle and superbreakout) from america to play on my philips flat screen here in germany (I'm actually Canadian but have been living here for 6 years, not that it matters :) ). Now the problem seems to be that obviously the games are ntsc but the philips supports ntsc for "video playback" only (I assume a digital connection with a blu ray or dvd etc). I am running the atari through the standard RF antennae on the tv and I have the feeling that video playback refers only to the digital mode of the tv and not the analouge rf jack, because the games flicker a bit an makes playing almost impossible. What can I do here? Is there some kind of converter I can get? Thanks in advance.
