  1. I'm fan of all three Streets Of Rage games actually. Streets Of Rage 3 is my personal favorite though. Love the ol' Genesis stuff. My character in 2 is Blaze and my characters in 3 are Axel, Blaze and Roo (Unlockables are fun ^_^)
  2. I was in that camp for a long time; I thought of it as a sort of crippled NES/SMS-type machine that could play 2600 games...and when the biggest selling point is "it can play 2600 games!," you have to wonder about the quality of its own software. But eventually, I said "screw it, what the hell" and I got a 7800 anyway, and it is pretty cool. The 7800 library is a lot of rehashes of older arcade games, but they're pretty damn good, and there are some unique exclusive titles that certainly keep things interesting. Honestly, you might as well. They're not outrageously expensive or anything (at least, they shouldn't be). But these days, if there had to be only one single reason to get a 7800, it is this: homebrews. They're amazing. What are the top three best homebrews you played?
  3. How about: Lemmings, Battlezone 2000, Dracula: The Undead or Hydra?
  4. Cool stuff man. ^_^ I was always a big platformer fan NES collection wise but Mega Man games STILL murder me.
  5. So, the main site told me to post my emulation questions here and I have a very interesting question. After downloading the Pro System 13 and both of the OS files (NTSC and PAL) I can't get any of the Atari 7800 ROMs to start playing. In fact all it's letting me do is access and move left, right, up and down on the menu screen. Is there something I'm doing wrong? EDIT: Wait, forget that I just starting hitting the designated A and B buttons until the game I loaded started. I guess this topic can be closed or deleted unless I have any other problems I need help with.
  6. I wouldn't get too worried since the collection of games is still decent but I'm gonna agree with you on the lack of Frogger. I'm planning on picking up this game on Monday as long as Gamestop hasn't sold out of copies yet.
  7. Consoles Nintendo 64 Handhelds Nintendo DS Nintendo DSi Gameboy Advance Gameboy (Original one) I'm trying to buy my roommate's Super NES off him and am also trying to find good deals on an Atari 2600, Atari Lynx, an NES and a few games I have on a list of must-haves.
  8. Got two more recommendations for you: Dungeons And Dragons: Pool Of Radiance Dungeons And Dragons: Dragon Strike Enjoy ^_^ @bobby: Wasn't there a Dungeons And Dragons NES game called Heroes Of The Lance?
  9. I live in South Florida and we have a huge motto about our area of the state. "If you don't like the current weather wait five minutes." Which sadly is true. One minute it'll nice and sunny and then a 60 second downpour will happen. Suddenly all's clear. I'm surprised we even have hurricane watches with our bipolar weather changes. As for gaming. I play whatever strikes my fancy be it Mario Bros., any modern games, retro. If it gets nasty weather outside I like to curl up on my couch with a soda, some snacks and video game. Any video game. ^_^
  10. That is a SWEET collection of games. I remember playing Mario Bros. and Dig Dug for the Atari 2600 before. If you combine your Atari games with any of your other classic systems you probably got Gaming Museum going on there. Congrats on this find. ^_^
  11. Sounds like a pretty sweet concept. I'd say go for it. I always like to keep broken electronics around whether for show or for finding other uses to them. By the way, did your Portable 2600 idea work?
