Man this thread made me miss my Neo Geo hardware. Nearest arcade has nothing but another in town has an mvs big red. I can;'t wait to get a Neo x as my former ownership of the Neo Geo AES was a once in a lifetime (most likely) splurge that ended in liquidation

[What did you like about the arcade environment back-in-the-day?]

Back in the day was the 90s early 2000s for me lol. I liked a pocket full of quarters. The noise and excitement. The competition, Friends. All of it. Hell I still go. We have a great family arcade here called Pojos. WE have popular somewhat adult places called Big Al's and such, and now we have these things called barcades two in my metro area. One within walking distance focuses on the classic nintendo and atari games mix that with beer and good sandwhiches and you have a frequent hangout for me lol

forza 4 and nba 2k13 looking to replay shenmue 2. And have a growing list of older and new titles to play

if your on a budget that prevents going for a newer console (I'm not sure about forwards compatbility of 360 games which could be a factor here) then certainly. I'm still enjoying one I have access to (borrowed from a friend) quite a few games I've not played at great prices and a handful of recently released titles at reasonable prices that will likely come down in price as well.

I feel its still a worthy buy even having owned like three over the years hell maybe more I've lost track its been a few years since I had one due to financial troubles but I plan to get one before getting an xbox one the library is huge I've missed many titles all of which are cheap and plentiful so I can wait on the xbox one to drop to xbox 360 prices

Time travel would be great I'd at least go back to the 80s but yes ideally earlier so as to get in on things early and really make a difference in history on a grand scale but also for my life (money, power etc)

[Neverwinter, WHO'S IN?]

I tried to get into the beta but haven't heard anything am trying again. The neverwinter games are some of my all time fave pc games (or games period) ever. And while not normally a big fan of MMOs I had fun playing D&D online for like 6 months straight and also played a few months of warhammer. I can see getting into this

that would be far too many consoles on the market and the cost involved makes it impossible. The money would be better spent giving fans the games they want as daytona usa mentioned a jet set sequel would be great (could use wii u and or ps4 controller for some tagging?) anyway and they should spend most of their time and resources on finishing shenmue

first one was a n64 for xmas in 96 my parents bought for my bro and I we had played older systems like the nes and super nes and sega genesis at cousins houses

I put that I don't currently collect anything (unless you count digital music) but also included things I've collected in the past like magazines, books, tapes and cds etc. I still have some of these things just not actively collecting anymore to broke and busy sadly

[How long will the Wii last?]

I just got a wii again not too long ago and have been enjoying it yet again (this is number three lol) I will be done with what I missed however shortly so unless some new games come out I could see needing a wii u for my nintendo fix within the next six months
