  1. Where'd you find that one?  Must have been a late unpacker or something.  I saw the Amiga but I've already not got space for one 500.  All I picked up was a "Diamond Hunt" 3-screen LCD game, but I did get it for 50c.

Back Row, right near the food stalls. Next Row left to the one where the Amiga was. The cords have NEVER BEEN OPENED and still in there baggies. I got there later then normal, it must have opened at about 7am, I got there at like, 7:40...

  4. Hello All

I was browsing in one of our stores here (Makro Warehouse) which is basically a store full of South American Biscuits, Cheap Electronics, etc. I was browsing there today and happened to find a CD Called "Arcade Classics 2003" That was styled EXACTLY like an M$ CD. I bought it for A$20, and went home with it "Interested" into what was on it. I came home, put it and found for it to be full of GBA ROMS, An entire Collection of ColecoVision ROM's, old Abandonware DOS Games and Beginner Shockwave games. Are they even allowed to sell this, or is it entirely illegal..? Here is a link to what it looks like: http://www.simplestore.com/index.asp?PageA...PROD&ProdID=110. Should I complain to the store, I bought $20 worth of freakin freeware, and I'm pissed.

  5. Chris, I'd have to Disagree with you on what you said about the Swapmeets. My local swapmeet (Centro Warwick) is normally fairly good, cause you can go in real early. Yes, Karrinyup is closed for Xmas, but I still found something predating SMS/NES Today.

    Atari 2600 6 Switch /w 10 Games, etc: AU$10

I'd say this year on whole has been way better then last year, swapmeet wise.

You need a Basic Level III Cart to boot the SC-3000/H. Or any other game carts, really. Otherwise It will just show a Black/Green screen and beep.

Ahhh, thanks for that. This machine was sealed in the box with a sticker reading "now with 48K ram". Anyone got any carts? I ditched mine thinking i would never own a machine. And whats with the tape connection, Is this a standard mono/stero plug? If so could i boot a game with a walkman??

I also thought that, But I kept my Boxed SJ-300 Joystick and Sega Data Recorder. Yup, It just uses the regular Mono/Stereo plugs, but to load a tape of course you need the Basic Cart. If I have a Spare I'll let you know. I got the first model with the rubber keys, also boxed but not sealed. Some great games for it.

  9. Today sucked.

Karrinyup (SP?) has a new opening time -- 45 minutes after we got there, so we went on to Warwick Grove, which was only about half full.  This made us an hour early for a school thing, so we bypassed that.  Galleria was okay, then we went on to Belmont, but really arrived there too late to be worth it.  As a bonus, there were two wild goose chases for garage sales along the way.

Well It's lucky I stayed in bed this morning then 8) Being woken up at 4:00am to open the front door wasn't really what I needed to wake up early and go.
