  1. Salvation Army Thrift: Wico Command Control Bat Joystick: $2.50 Coincidently enough, I bought the other wico joystick that matches it at the same thrift a month ago!
  2. Consoles 1. Atari 7800 2. Sega Master System 3. Sega CD
  3. I'm fairly young (13) But I've been gaming for 10 Years. My first system was the 8 Bit Master System II, which still have to this day. Atari and Commodore were collapsing in Australia at this point, so In 1995 we got a 486 PC and a Gameboy. I was happy with the games on it until '97, when Our family got an HP 200mhz Top of the Line Computer. My 2nd console was a Playstation. I vaguely remeber some Atari ST and Amiga Stuff in the shops before '95, but it didn't effect our choice. I was introduced to computers and consoles by our next door neighbour, who had a 286 at the time and I played games on it. She also had an Atari Lynx, which I remember quite a bit. Anyway, I only found out about the Amiga when I got one at an auction Last year.
  4. As a buyer I got in and out without being rained on, but numbers were way down. Most interesting thing I spotted was a boxed Barcode Battlers game. I only picked up a soft plastic space shuttle. I Slept in this morning (Til 10am), so I didn't bother going their. I've heard of that Barcode Battler thing, shame the system wasn't their. I've heard you can scan a barcode into the system and it starts a game. It was sunny when I got up, but It poured down til about 7am here and I knew that their wouldn't be many people their.
  5. This is been on the Al's "To Do" List, and has been for about a year or so. I would like to the see the section up this year, as I'm interested in the XEGS. EDIT: Thanks CPUWIZ for pointing out my stupid typo
  6. Wanneroo Telethon Swapmeet tomorrow, and they forecast showers...
  7. This is a really good idea to use up the 1000+ Combat cartridges some people would have. You'd have to make an ET Version, a Pac Man Version and a Space Invaders Version!
  8. This is a fairly good price, considering Myer/Grace Bro's was selling them for brand new last year for about $49.
  9. Looks like another Way Too Hyped Console. And this PSX thing, the folks at sony should get another naem, I'm getting sick of the "Playstation" Naming. At leat Atari changed the numbers around. This will be hyped and will NOT Be successful this time I Reckon.
  10. I've changed cartridges on my 7800 and played for up to 2 1/2hrs on it and IMO Some have felt pretty warm. However, this should do no harm, I recommend the same as V.R did, let the 7800 have a 10 minute rest after each Hour of Gameplay.
  11. Count Me In. The only other person from perth here is krisjohn, and I've been thinking of setting up something like this in a couple of years (No time at the moment)
  12. Ahem Bascially Ahem Basically
  13. This mod has been on my "To Do" List for about a year, I never get time to do it.
  14. Nice Finds! I've been looking for a TRS 80 lately, I had a boxed mint Thermal Printer for it, but I've sold that. That 1040 find reminds me of the one I got from the local auctions with a Mono Monitor. Anyway, I got one nice find today from a nice Man. Thanks to the Readersmart for this super find Mac Performa 250 (Color Classic) With heaps of software, all Complete A$25 I seen a gameboy printer the other day for $10 at a cashies nearby (Balcatta?) except I have not one GB at the moment.
  15. ElectricTroy, heres an example of you flaming Atari, when this is an ATARI Message board. From the: Atari/Sega/Nintedno working on a Project together thread in moderm gaming:

  17. Systems I've Bought Brand New Xbox:(Oct 2002) (With DVD Remote, Halo and JSRF/SEGAGT Pack In) US$259 PS1: (Nov 1998) (Dual Shock) US$119 SMSII: (Aug 1993) (Alex Kidd Bulit In + Wonderboy/Sonic 1) US$49
  18. I got "The Sims" For my Xbox and it's a helluva lot better then the PC Version. Lots of cool new objects, orginal "Get A Life" games. I think the Get A life feature was a needed thing to be put in, as the open ended gameplay gets old after about 6 Months.
  19. I'd recommend posting this in the eBay auctions board, as it would get lots of attention their.
  20. Thats one of the toughest things I've seen in ages, parenting wise. The way a lot of brats go today is shocking. Screaming until they get what they want. Also, the Tween Age Gap (6-11) Is something to be careful of, the Newspaper here did areport and said over AU$1 Trillion was sucked up worldwide by these brand watching kids. I know I'm only 13, But IMO things have changed in about 10 years parenting wise (I've Researched it at school). BTW, this is cheap, obviosly that Mom doesn' know the value of Dreamcasts
  21. Whenever I send an International Package, I ship it in Recycled Cardboard (I Get the boxes from Supermarkets) and tape it all up with quailty Masking tape. I recently sent a Dick Smith Wizzard to Belgium this way. I also shove a free tourise guide of the city I live in for people who buy from me international can see the city that I live in.
  22. I know about Sims 2, Just forgot about it while writing. When I vent, I seem to forget various things . I'm not complaining aqbout dish space, since I have 25GB free, but I wonder how much the next game will take up. 1.5GB?
  23. I'm getting sick and tired of all these lame expansion packs, after 3 years of them. You'd reckon they;d just create a whole new game, the gameplay way is aging and is getting out of date and is very limited. Allso, the whole game, with all the Expansion packs takes up a Whopping 4.7GB (Estimate), which isn't terribly good for people who still have a 10GB HD.
  24. BTW, You can also use the Same Cube S-Video cable on a SNES, and all 3 (SNES/N64/Cube) have the same A/V Output.
