Knock it off all of you! We are not thieves we HAVE not and WILL not steal from anyone. The individuals who are owed WILL be taken care of. Life has delayed or progress but we are still here! Stop this petty squabbling! You all do not have the facts of the matter so please stop making assumptions based on lies. Those of you who are not owed anything stop trying to bring us to justice it is non of your business. Please for our sanity and yours just let us work this out when we do we will take care of everything.
Sorry for the rant but I have just reached my braking point.

I would assume so. From what I know of him he's a good person and wouldn't set out to screw anyone over.
I guess I don't understand why he doesn't come back and post something. Even if it's a "My health is preventing me from working on this now" kind of message, I think most people would be satisfied. Poor health or not, you can bang out a message and post it in all of 5 minutes. If he can't manage that then he should appoint someone to be a spokesperson for him. Ignoring the situation completely is the wrong way to go.
Most people don't want to see this sort of personal thread. This reply is being made because Matt thinks it's the right thing to do. So be it.
I am that spokesperson. Unfortunately I have been unwell myself. We never disappeared. Just stopped posting publicly. I've done my best to make sure that either myself or other family members kept those people we owe informed. At least every few months. Those we owe are the only people we have to answer to regarding their transactions and it doesn't have to be done in public. They were asked if they would keep waiting several times. They said they would. It is shocking to see so much misinformation on this thread. There is a standing commitment to make good on the 7800 project. That commitment is between my husband, myself, and the buyers. It isn't the responsibility of anyone else. When they write me I answer them. If you have a legitimate issue please write me privately. No one has gone missing. No one has been ignored.
The topic of this thread is "How's Ax doing?" For those who care, he is worse not better. He went before an ALJ and is waiting on a disability determination. He is terribly shy about my talking about his health. He is unable to play games and obsesses over his unfinished projects. His mental state is very poor. One arm doesn't work. The other hand locks up and has painful cramps when he uses it. Typing is very difficult for him. Yes he has tried speech to text software. It frustrates him and it is seldom used. Ax loves this forum and many of its members. It pains him greatly that anyone would even consider that he would run away or do anything wrong on purpose. He did so much for this forum. It was his social life. Right now we are relying heavily on family and our teenage children to help out just surviving and covering the bills. As I mentioned my health has gone down hill and I will be starting chemo on Monday. My body did not respond to the
transfusions or IVIG. The steroids are giving me horrible side effects. I've been in the hospital more often than not for the past month and a half. As our sole support for income once Ax was unable to earn, and also primary caregiver to Ax, things have been very difficult. Especially these past few weeks.
Matt, we haven't met in person yet. Ax and the kids talk about you like a close friend. We know you are trying to be fair. It is understandable not to prevent freedom of speech and be fair to all. I do have a few friendly disagreements with your saying that this thread follows your sites rules.
Looking at the rules located at
http://atariage.com/forums/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules
Please consider the following passages.
"off-topic discussion in the forums designated as such." - the thread is about "How's Ax doing?"
"responding to an existing thread, please try to be positive, constructive, polite, and on topic" - many posts are off topic and negative
"Trolling usually involves disrupting a thread by posting messages that are off-topic" - see above
"individual member repeatedly disrupts threads in a negative fashion" - the specific member I'm thinking of has a track record of this
"we will not tolerate members insulting each other in the public forums." - see below
"other personal discriminations are not permitted." - Ax is a disabled person. Documents were shared with Albert and the AA mods last year.
Attention seekers should not be allowed to run amok on any site trying to smoke out a response that they aren't even owed. Also, it is a bit odd that this general discussion is taking place in your marketplace forum.
To Goldenband. I'm sorry I have not made your cable. There is a seller on eBay with Ti99 cables for $15. I asked if they would ship one directly to you.
To Busterm. You know the master system was sent to you three times. Each time it came back return to sender both your east and west coast addresses. The cost of the postage in the end was over $45. We sold the PS1 we got from you in trade on Amazon for $65 + $4 shipping credit. They take a 15% cut at Amazon and shipping was much more than their maximum $4 credit. We held on to that Master system for 6 months waiting to hear back then sold it to recover the postage spent. It ended up cracked with the buyer getting a partial refund. Probably from too much shipping. All of this information was exchanged when you resurfaced. The deal was a wash. If you want to cover the $45 we spent in postage plus the next $15 stamp I will personally make sure you get a master system. Private message me.
To the Canadian that was banned. Ax is sorry he stuck up for you and begged Albert to let you come back.
Whether you mind or not, now you know. You can do what you want with it. I'm spending the weekend with my family. I've got a full day chemo orientation on Monday and I'm not going to be on here for a while.

Got this together for someone in the wanted section, but they ended up buying one on another site.
Fully working, with A/V cables, controller, and a game $84.65 + $15.35 postage anywhere in the USA.
-
PM sent to sell an FZ-1 3do for $100 shipped.

As some of you know I am the wife of the.golden.ax. Ax had these systems earmarked for holiday sales. However we are short for the electric bill this month and need to being in a couple hundred dollars by Saturday at noon.
We have around 25 white Dreamcast model 1 systems available. They each come with a red/yellow/white video cable, power cord, and original sega brand controller. They were tested with both original and CD-R media and work perfectly. They all look the same. Standard white Dreamcast systems. $32 each, medium flat rate actual postage is $11.30 to USA only.
Payment will be "gift-style" to the.golden.ax gmail paypal account, and I will do the shipping. They are ready to go now. Once we sell enough to cover the electric bill we won't be selling more right now, because they go for a higher dollar around the holidays.
Also, we have a handfull of empty white/orange, and white/eclipse style cardboard DC system boxes, no manuals or trays, just the cardboard, that can be added for another $15 + $4.05postage, when you buy a system.
Thanks Sally

Richard H. gave Ax permission to make more, but with his issues that won't be any time soon. This recent wave was made by Glenn S. and I don't know if he will be making more. Only he can answer that. When I run out I'm just out.
Thanks Sally

Sure thing pm sent!

20 power supplies are left. They are modified for 9.0v under a load. If anybody wants one PM me.
Other than that, mods feel free to lock this thread up. It's off topic.
-
These controllers will work on a 2600. Both buttons will fire the standard way any 2600 controller would. There was a homebrew movement to make two button 2600 titles and I can make controllers for that but these are different.

Since this thread was getting confusing and I also have a pair of wico bats for sale I have made a new thread.
I have started the new Market place thread here:
This thread is done so it can be locked thank you!
-
Ax walked me though these modifications.
"These controllers have been modified for full two button support in games like Xevious on 7800. Works with two button Colecovision games as well. You will need either a Y-cable or second player keypad hooked up for digits on Coleco (not included)."
Price is $49 + shipping for the modified Space Invaders stick.

Price $39 per modified Wico bat ($70 pair) + shipping.

If interested please PM me!
Thanks for looking,
Sally

Wow, I got both a Pepsi Invaders and a working Vectrex. Talk about a good 20 dollar investment.

Dang you got the wrong box I meant to give you the boxed air raid.

A few points and then no more derailing this thread, please. I've answered every PM that has been sent to me, and it isn't nice to use the public humiliation route to get what you want. In the first place it showed little tact to contact the forum via this thread in the very beginning before emailing Ax. You claimed it for for saving Skunk boards. Okay. Now it shows even less tact. This is a HOMEBREW product, and a private ongoing issue.
There are a few points that need addressing.
First, Skunkboards have a chip inside that requires 9v ONLY, no more, no less. Something the original power cords don't even do. It comes off the direct line. Something that virtually every other electrical video game on earth doesn't do. Any more voltage is apparently stressing it. Because neither Ax or I made the Skunk we could have never known that. It worked on our Skunk. They went so far as to remove this on Skunk 3 apparently because it was a problem with Skunk 1 & 2.
Second, Ax in his goodhearted attempt to correct this, offered to make it right. Once the problem was known, we offered to take all the power supplies back and lower the voltage for EVERYONE. All but two or three people took us up on that. It's mentioned in this very thread, if there is any doubt. Those units that were mailed back, all got repaired and were sent back out. The offer still stands for anybody who has the higher voltage, even you. Just mail it back. I'll take care of the rest.
Finally, the original Atari wallwarts we have on hand all run 13.5v, and around 11v under a load. This means the original power supply is already stressing the supposed 9v limit of the Skunk. The units we sell are now corrected to being 9.0v under a load. This is superior to the original Atari units, that have their voltages all over the place, and way higher than 9v. In the first place, before we corrected these power supplies, they weren't too much for the Jaguar, or JagCD alone, no matter what anybody says. 12.5% is within an acceptable margin. The original voltage of our power supplies was only allegedly problematic on some Skunks. Not even our Skunk, that we tested it on before selling the power supplied in the first place. We have built, refurbished, and sold thousands of power supplies over 17 years. We just didn't know that Skunk was picky, iffy, or took voltage off the incoming line unlike any other video game product on the market. The Skunk is a homebrew product just like ours. Aftermarket items are just that. To quote the Skunk user manual: "User assumes all risk and responsibility regarding use of the SkunkBoard." You agreed to that by using the Skunk. Ax didn't throw that at you when you wanted us to take responsibility. He offered to make it right instead.
This issue isn't any business of those who didn't even buy one. It doesn't matter how kind they would have been, nor should they be getting involved in this dispute publicly, as they aren't even customers. If you want to talk to people in private about it and get your pitch fork out, I can't stop you. We take care of our customers, and we have been taking care of this situation despite your doubts.
If waiting isn't good enough and you want to keep this conversation going in a public forum I'm out. This is my last post on this topic. This thread is for promotion and sales of the power supply while it is available. Nothing else. What is going on now is a private matter that we were nice about and willing to do what it took to correct. In the beginning you had a point about trying to save Skunks. That was the excuse for public performance. Now it's just a smear campaign. Nobody wants to hear this drama. We will assume that you are "letting us out" of the agreement if this keeps up in public. I'm more than happy to respond to your PMs in a timely fashion and let you know what is going on, but this act isn't going to get you or anyone what they want. If I can't do my job and take care of my husband and kids, how likely is it that you will get what you want? We've done everything we can to try to bring this to a close, other than taking our Skunk away from the kids as was explained by PM to you. We even promised to give you the one our kids use in the kiosk if Dan's fell through. Keeping this up in public is a crazy as shooting someone for not paying a loan quickly enough. We made a promise. Does the shylock get paid when their mark is dead? I'm really sorry we aren't quick enough for you. Maybe you would have been happier if we just told you off in the first place, so you could go around saying you were right, but we didn't. We aren't like that. We gave our word and we keep it. Sorry if we aren't fast enough for some people. End of subject. Please direct any response to PM.
Anybody who wants to buy dual power cord can also feel free to PM me. Other than that I'm done addressing this issue in this thread.
