I have check some 8 Kb games who work on Ultimate slots (I do not intend to try them all ). Pitfall Frogger Kaboom QIX PacMan Super Breakout Galaxian River Raid not work
-
After some conversation with Sebastian, he revealed to me the secret about the XEGS slots. First must be closed the XEGS jumper on Ultimate board. Also one of the four OS must be from XEGS, specifically OS4. Then within Bios of Ultimate1MB just press SELECT key and after C for cold boot. The game appears!!! The same when power machine on with SELECT down, and from SELF TEST mode with SELECT + RESET keys. Thanks to Candle! XEGS rom above http://depositfiles....files/yjwm1wqqm

Yes the same here with my previous flash ram.

@atari8warez No dont take like this. I mean cause things aren't so tragic if someone mess it somewhat. @Jay Ok now I understand. I hope in the future Sebastian to find a way as to seize the rest of us the additional 32Kb of memory. Even if we need to make some modification.

Ok, one question please. I burn just now my flash ram with Basic rev. C plus 3 games at the empty Basic slots, 4 games at the xegs slots, and exchange the diagnostics for BOSS-XL II OS. All look perfect, but how can I make the games on xegs slots to run??
-
Yes, but isn't so dificult after to burn again the stock one!
-
Ok Jay now I understand. I can use my programmer for that purpose! One more question please. Where can i find the files for GUI-BIOS-RESERVED-PBI ??? Oh.. now I see that in your previous post. Must load "ultimate1mb-v2.rom" first !!!
-
@AtariGeezer Just to understand and I! if I use your rom generator can after burn the rom direct to flash memory? Or must to wait untill some future flasher etc.....

Revision D, like mine and the Robert.

Look Stephen, my issue does not mean cause is the same for a8w. But is a good point for someone who have mine exact problem. That is the reason who presented it as detailed as possible.
-
Believe it or not yes, one part of this ic used to make the buffer PHI2 signal!

Robert I have good news at least for my self. Although I had solved mine problem with my way , because my Atari is still open I decide to try some things more. Apart from main DuPont connector connected direct to CPU signals, I make a second and soldered the edges at original Sebastian pcb place. Now I have the possibility to check my machine with one or the other way. After I tried to change all the logic ic around the MMU and Delay Line with new ones, and place these on machined gold plated sockets. Then I start the Atari with Sebastian connections and all working perfect now. Can you mind what was the flaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaakey logic IC, which look good on my logic tester? For its vector table at least. Look carefully the picture.
