And if you want something a little softer, I play music with these guys:

They don't always use me, though, since I play bass and they're kind of into the acoustic thing. Kyle says he wants to write some new electric stuff this semester though.

  18. I am in California. Not exactly sure what they are worth. Also, ANY info that you might have about the Xerox would be useful, because I can hardly find anything on the internet about it. Like 2 sites with minimal info. Just enough to let me know its rare.
  19. I made a post on old-computers.com, but in 2 weeks got no replies and only 8 views lol. So I am just going to copy/paste the post over to here... Any replies are appreciated. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi, I have a few computers in my collection that I plan on selling. I mostly stick to my Atari's and 6502/z80 computers. What I have here is an IBM PCjr and a seemingly very rare Xerox Sunrise 1800. My first problem is that I know very little about them. I got them both from a guy who kept them in storage for about 20 years. They were working when he put them in the storage. Here is a picture of what I have for the PCjr. I believe that there are some expansion modules on the unit. I also have the infrared keyboard and some sort of manual entitled "guide to operations". I do not have any hookups at all. Can I hook up the PCjr to a TV or do I need a monitor. Also I am looking for a cheap power cable. Would this work? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220485842694 I also need to find a power cable for the Xerox. If anyone is interested in buying any of this, let me know. Once I find out some info about them and get some hookups I plan on selling them on Ebay.
  20. Thanks for the replies. I might end up going with the Satan thing or jsut getting an original Atari HD. I'm tired of all there 720k floppies laying around! lol
  21. I own an Atari 1040ST and have a bunch of software and hardware for it. Now I want a hard drive for it! I am looking for the most cheap way to do this. I don't know too much about SCSI, but I figured if I just buy an external SCSI cable and hard drive I could just hook it up to my Atari and it will work as I heard it will pretty much plug and pay. What exactly am I going to have to buy to do this? Am I going to need any additional software? Thanks!

  24. Wow! I am posting in the same thread as the man himself! haha Ok, here is my question. I have asked this before, but is there any chance that Atari will get back into hardware? By this, I mean game systems and personal computers. At the moment, Atari makes some of my favorite games. I just think that if Atari made an attempt an their own system, there would already have a huge fan base to back it up! And with the Flashback 2+ (I really wat to get one! I have the flashback 1) it seems like Atari can do this. I would REALLY like to see Atari computers come back into the mainstream. Most people think that Atari is dead and do not realize that Atari still makes some of the best games. If a new system were to be developed, I know a lot of programmers would be honored to work with it. I use my Atari 1040stf and 400 and 800xl and Portfolio for my homebrew programming just because they were revolutionary at their time. It would just feel so right to have a brand new Atari computer on my desk. I can just see it now... A new computer that is not an IBM PC clone or a mac for once, but an ATARI! Part of the problem with the modern computer industry is that there is not enough competition and there are too many standards. I personally would trust Atari more than any other company to change this.
