From that very same screen, you can click a button that deletes the receipt from your email. You can't turn it off. There's no way to delete trackings without losing receipts. So you need to manually back up each and every receipt email you want to save, and then delete it. I'd call all of that a dark pattern.

It's useful for sure, Wiz. Just wish it was opt-in. Or at least allow me to opt-out. I've been trying to limit my surface area to google, but gmail is a big hurdle in that.

I'm glad I run my own email server and stopped using Chrome recently.
