  1. Epay has gotten stupid on the fixed shipping rate issue as of late. It makes it difficult to ship gaming items I have sold. I hate selling on there for this reason alone.
  2. Newsflash: The great depression has hit Michigan especially hard. If you think a local buyer has that kind of cash laying around for two arcade cabs, think again. Last I heard, unemployment was 18% in Michigan, and we all know the government officially released numbers are a lie to the low side.

    PAL games

Will they play on a US NTSC VCS or Tele Games console? Will they display fine on my US TV if played through a US NTSC console? If no to these questions, does anyone know of an adapter that would make this possible? Thanks.

    Wico Y cable?

All the Wico cable does is allow you to use the start, pause, reset, and numeric pad buttons on the stock 5200 controller. The directional and fire operations are handled by the Wick joystick plugged in on the 9 pin connector. Sounds like yours is functioning just as it was intended.
  5. Only games they could put on it would be baseball, football, Cabbage Patch Kids, and maybe Telly Turtle. Would be a pretty boring machine at that rate.
  6. Was it sold solely in the US?
  7. Please fill me in on Aquarius. Does it play INTV game cartridges? What does the mini expander do? Thanks.

    HACK JOB

Looks like a big case for minimal wiring inside...
  9. ^ It ends up looking fairly obvious to insurance investigators at that point. No sane individual would pull that stunt.
  10. Does Private Eye have horizontal scrolling? It has been a long time since I have played that game.
  11. Karnov is excellent. Additions should be: The Rocketeer Rolling Thunder Legendary Wings Rygar Zanac
  12. Agree with Zylon that salvaging one from a wrecked system is probably going to be your only choice.
  13. Which ones the best? Gamecube version is great.
  14. I'm unfamiliar with Wing War was it a PAL only release? I'm only missing Shootin' Gallery and Moonsweeper for Imagic. Wing War was an Imagic release for Colecovision, not VCS.
  15. Telesys. Coconuts and Fast Food are fun to play.
  16. For arcade Galaga fans, NES Advantage just does not have enough "slappiness" in its fire buttons. They are too stiff compared to the arcade fire buttons. I really want a 3rd party arcade stick made with click switches and arcade buttons for Galaga on NES.
  17. I am a game preservationist, so most of the ideas presented on this thread so far are appalling. Anything that takes original video gaming material and destroys it for future generations is a no go option. There are plenty of good options though: Auction them in lots of ten or twenty for a reasonable rate on ebay. While selling them individually may not be "worth your time", selling lots of games may prove profitable. Also, trading them at 4-jays or Atari2600.com are good options as well.
  18. He states that all offers will be considered, so I wonder how low he would go? If he is seriously expecting $350K in today's economy, then he is beyond delusional. Can anyone say, "O'Shea's"?
  19. ^ Ummm, Mario Bros. was not an original release for CV, but was for 5200. I mentioned not to consider homebrews and protos.
  20. I walked into a Target store in 1986, saw a demo playing of Super Mario Bros. on a NES kiosk, and my jaw almost hit the floor. Enough said...
  21. This is educational. I did not know it was within ebay rules to contact a seller and make a deal ahead of time. Even if someone did, why would the seller want to do a deal like that? Why not wait and see how high the bidding gets. And then, if the OP has used those tactics before, why complain about the ethics, or lack thereof? Also, if the seller did agree to the "side deal", then how would he/she end the auction early without setting off a red flag to ebay?
  22. Easily said, but many don't have $50 and above to spend on video games. I just got the price for Puzzli for Colecovision and will be passing due to the price of $60 shipped. Now before all the rich boys get on here and expound on the "value" in homebrews (getting a cool manual, box and new cartridge), please understand my point. The economy has made finances tight for many, and laying down $50 and above on a single video game is out of the question when you are barely paying the monthly bills. For real, homebrews should be priced more reasonably and people would not be asking questions like the OP...
  23. Cruisin' USA Cruisin' World F1 Championship Beetle Adventure Racing All of these are better with racing wheel and pedals.
  24. ^ Giving the 5200 a second chance is a good idea. Get refurbed controllers. Or refurb them yourself. You will be happy you did.
