  1. well all I know is that the C=64 paddles use lower value potentiometers so they are really hard to

use on an atari. they work but are way too sensitive. And there might be a problem with them

    letting too much voltage through.

  2. Is it even up for sale?

I would really like a copy of this. It looks rad!!

Speaking of rad, check out the clear Pressure gauge. Now that is rad :D

I now have 2 games I want from Packrat. (possibly 3) and between 5 and 10 from AA.

Damnit i'll never save any money at this rate :P

btw: Packrat, what is the P.G lable printed on? It looks awsome :D

  3. That picture confused me just enough for me to go and dig up my DC.

And theres nowhere to plug in a controller. [edt] Thats a nice place to put the controller though ;) [/edt]

The batteries got me the first time too. I couldn't figure out why i kept hitting the kurb

Why does it need batteries? The Atari dc's don't need them.

  4. Funny, I had to convert the game for Activision's Anthology from NTSC to PAL, because a PAL version was completely unknown.

BTW: Why would anybody in a PAL country want to play baseball? And who is Pete Rose? :ponder:  :)

I think this game is great and I'm in a PAL country ;)

I have a PAL cart. I'll dump it next time I boot into windows (could be weeks or months :P )

unless i can find a way to compile 7800ctrl under linux without having to rewrite huge chuncks of code.

@Cybergoth, japan uses NTSC also, And they really like there baseball over there too :) (it's been geting more news coverage than Sumo lately :o)

  5. I'v looked on google and i found 1 linux build but it doesn't work properly

I also found a RPM in the stella archives but I'm using Debain so no luck there.

Is there a plain linux build out there somwhere ?

  6. Ok. When is the release date for Krokodile Cart for the atari 2600? Is Krokodile cart going to come out before christmas of 2004?

    Hi bluetriforce,

I am still working on it. I need to make a second prototype and do a lot of testing before it can be released ... I have no idea when this is finished ...

Depends on how many problems there are.

    Kroko

Does this mean it is actually going to be called the Krokodile Cart :P

  7. Yaaaaay. I finaly got me a programmer. And I soldered every part on myself :D

Whats better is it actually works. well at least it reads chips i haven't got a blank EPROM

to test writing just yet. I'm so psyched. I'll be playing Recca in no time :D :D :D

I need to make an adapter to burn 24 pin chips and all I need to do that is some etching .. um ... stuff ;)
