  1. 2-D (Video Arcade / Game Store) I think I just stumbled over a keeper Thanks Jag. 2D will never die
  2. I went into a a little hole in the wall CD store today and right up the back where 2 pinball tables. The thing was the Playfields where gone and in their places where CD shelfs They came with the shop and where already pretty fucked up so they renovated them into CD shelfs (Very cool idea and better than trashing them) One was a Charlies Angels pinball with Backglass The other was unknown.
  3. I don't know art, but I know what I like. And I like Video Games Just look at the Homebrews being produced now and tell me thats not an Artform. It takes a lot of creativity to make a good game. Sure thers a lot of Soup cans on the market now but theres also some really inspiring works aswell.
  4. This will need to be revolutionary to live up to the name. But with EA it won't be.
  5. You'll probably need one that works j/k It needs to get pretty hot, It's a lot easier with the earlier foil (?) lables but it does work on all of them.
  6. A) It's only a waste of time if you don't fix it B) Hit it with a hair-dryer (or just use the dryer to heat the lable, this re-activates the glue and makes it easier to peel off in 1 peice)
  7. Todays finds .... SMS: Outrun NES: Gradius Double Dragon 2 N64: Action replay
  8. re:Spray Painted? It could be the cameras flash. It's too dificult to tell really.
  9. Looks like a bad case of Stupid right there
  10. Use Access. Or any database program. Spreadsheets just don't cut it Of course I don't use anything because I don't keep lists ..... but if I did ...
  11. Theres your problem. You wait until the dude says Going twice and then make your first bid (if you can). Don't get in there and drive the price up early.
  12. Hopefully it doesn't turn WOPR and nuke you Whatever you do, Do NOT type "Thermo-Nuceular War"
  13. Thinking of starting a collection so I have somthing to put on the walls "when" I get my arcade Anyone collect them ? Any tips on how to find them (Apart from ePay) ?
  14. Tell me about it. I'v been playing so many games I just never bothered with because they would just flash at me not matter how clean they where. Everyone needs a working NES
  15. Anyone know the best place to find pinouts I have some EEPROM and SDRAM chips I'd like to find out more about.
  16. Bomb Sweeper by Snow Bro (You can get this rom here http://nesdev.parodius.com/BombSweeper.zip ) Based on the 1987 Game&Watch "BombSweeper" this game is a blast of pure nostalgia for those who played the original. For the rest of us this is just classic Nintendo. There are 26 of the original levels included, 73 new ones, for a total of 99 levels You can also edit your own levels saving up to 99 different levels. The game is a simple puzzle game. You have to move the walls to get to the bomb in time. You can only move walls that aren't blocked by neibouring walls. If you don't make it in time the bomb will explode and you'll lose a life. If you mess up the maze so you can't reach the bomb you can detonate the bomb on purpose (but you'll still lose a life) The faster you reach the bomb, the more points you get and when you reach 50,000 points, you are awarded an extra life. And Just like Thomas Jentzsch's 2600 game "Jammed" it's not nearly as simple as it seems Sound: Classic Nintendo bleeps. Ah the memories 8/10 Graphics: I don't like the "enhanced" look. 5/10 Gameplay: Strangly addictive puzzles. 7/10 Overall I'd give it a 7/10 Bomb Sweeper, doner carts: (mapper 0) 16k PRG / 8k CHR "see Galaxy Patrol Enhanced doner carts" And thats the Nintendo Difference
  17. I was going to do Elite but Just gotta find some time.
  18. My suggestion would be post a list in the marketplace forum and whatever doesn't sell in a week or two list on ebay in small lots (4 or 6 carts per lot)
  19. No more flashing white screen Yay. I'd like to thank Bratwurst for the inspiration and instructions Check out his mod http://www.angelfire.com/apes/madmeat/toaster1.html A much more profesional job than mine (thank god my camera is busted ) My spare nes has been sitting in pieces since Bratwurst first posted the instructions at PlayNintendo.com. For some reason I'm not too good with the solder sucker. So today I bought some desoldering braid Once I got the AV box off the board it took 2 hours to finish. I'll be playing a lot more NES now all my games work all the time
