Thats why most games have dificulty settings I think the harder a game is the more satisfaction you get from beating it Can't beleive I missed that thread and the oppertunity to get some nekkid MacGurl pics
-
I haven't seen moycon around here for awhile ..... but I digress How do you like your games dificulty ? I perfer either a really hard action or puzzle game with an ending or A really long RPG with lots of little side quests. (not too hard so the story rolls along at a bearable pace) I'v just been a bit confused lately with people complaining about both cost AND dificulty. If I buy a NEW game it had damn well better entertain me for more than a week. verdict - The harder the better

Just got Ikaruga and Super Mario Sunshine today... sigh...

It's usually the criss-crossing streams that get me. Has to be the best shooter ever P.S Everyone, It's meant to be hard. Wouldn't be much point if you could finish it by holding the fire button down Then again I'm the only person I'v meet who didn't think Battletoads was too hard either. ....... Time for a dificulty thread -
The one in the top right has extra thick sides, so it's a heavy sixer (the original Sunnyvale unit if I'm not mistaken) the other 2 are just plain old six switchers
-
You just got some of the best games for the best 16-bit console What a lucky bastard Oh and check the link in my sig I don't harass people about it too offten but you might not know.

You Have To See This - I don't like it!

wow. Thats pretty fucked up. pretty much why I don't deal with ebay anymore. -
Mortal Kombat 3 on the SNES (and possibly Megadrive too) has a hidden game like galaga. A friend of mine knows the code to unlock it (a rather long button sequence) off by heart.

Oh well thats much worse. Thanks for clarifying I was just confused because it reads like your saying the Dreamcast was the inferior system or that the PS/2 had better development (marketing yes)
-
Dreamcast did NOT die from poor development. There where no PS/2 games at the time that could "blow away" any D.C game (there where however quite a few that just plain blew ) ahem ..... Alex Kidd in Miracle World is the only reason you need to own a sms (get a sms2 and you don't even need to buy it )

With every second company selling classic compilations it may not last as long as we would like

I agree 100% My local video stores are selling off their N64 games now. (I'v bought a lot of them ) in my mind that means it ceases to be a modern console. but like I said, N64 emulation still has a long way to go. I wouldn't waste my time on it ..... plus the consoles are dirt cheap.
-
N64 emulation = Shit. It will be a long time before it reaches the quality to be worth the download. Newsgroups. so should I be receiving the package in the mail anytime soon

After reading this thread again I got a phone call and somone said I'd die in 7 days .......

http://www.digitpress.com/lists/tg16.pdf don't know if it's divided, but it seems like somthing DP would do

I have no idea how soon my internet connection will be cut (I'm 2 days over already) So this is just a bit of wishful thinking

http://www.todaytonight.com.au/stories/849059.html You've got to have a real love for games to just give it all away like that

Should games have ages on them?
Happy_Dude replied to Gregory DG's topic in Modern Console Discussion
I disagree. An age rating is only a suggestion. How many kids play games rated MA 15+ I'm reminded of that Simpsons episode where Dr. Frink is teaching Kindergarden and explaining how the ball thinggie works and the kids just want to play with it -
GTA hasn't been shunned. Everyone has played it in one form or another. RCR (Street Gangs ) would be on my top 5. Info/Atari didn't always produce swill 5: Street Gangs 4: Perfect Dark 3: Jet Set Radio 2: REZ 1: KABOOM! btw: Hardcore was poor word choice. When I hear the term "Hardcore gamer" I first think of some little wanker who needs his mommy to buy him the latest games the second they're released. The second thought is of that korean dude who died in a internet cafe due to lack of sleep and playing online games for weeks straight.

You have no idea how ridiculous that statement is. ROFL Didn't you know that the SIZE is directly proportional to the FUN. Hell mabey E.T is even fun on a 65" digital box.

Theres a room in Boo's mansion with a vase. when you jump inside it you change into an Old skool pixelated mario and the music changes to the original SMB theme. WTF? Is there a purpouse to this ? where the programmers smoking crack ? I just have to know

I finally got my GameCube! First impressions...
Happy_Dude replied to Room 34's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Hasn't impressed me so far. The camera is shocking. The movement is barley PS/2 standard. And theres "3d pop-up" in the battle sequences. I thought pop-up would be more of a problem in racing games if at all but there it is on the cube Activision could have done waaay better. Not bagging the "game" at all. I like the concept (and I'll probably finish it ) .... I just expected more from the cube. Drat to that. Is this a big problem with the Cube. How many games have this "feature" -
TETRIS Kirby's dream land 2 is damn good too Thats just from what I own .... which isn't much
