    Hello I am Taking Offers on these games that were previously unreleased prototypes that were released in small quantities at the Phillyclassic or CGE. All come complete in the box with manual, in like new condition.

    I have an Atari 2600 VCSP (Revision 5) that I bought in Jul 2001 direct from Ben H. I have always run the system of a ac power supply , but it also can run on a sony infolithium battery type L model NP 550.

     

    Recently the VSCP has been giving me wavy lines when I attempt to play a game. The system has well cared for , so I am not sure why it is having a problem. It could be that there is a short or something in the ac power supply and it will function with a battery. I just don't want to spend more money on a battery if that is not the solution.

     

    I have tried contacting Ben H to see if he can repair it , but I have not heard back yet.

     

    I paid almost 300.00 for the unit. If anyone is interested in giving me 200.00 please email me at [email protected]

     

    Chances are Ben H can and will fix it , whenever he has time. Or someone may be great with electronics and may be able to fix it themselves.

    I pulled out my old saved emails from Ben. GOD I Paid 250.00 and sent him an Atari for the parts to create the system. So I had better get it running. I may just but the Np550 digital camera battery to try this as a possible solution, Its worth a shot

     

    or If anyone wants to buy it for 200.00 , just let me know , that way I only lose about 50-70 dollars on the deal

    It always worked before with the 12 V 1000Ma battery. That is what he recommended that I use, because at the time I could not afford a battery in addition to the unit itself.

     

    I still have not heard back from him and I am told he is spending all his time on his movie. Not sure if I should just sell this to someone who may be able to fix it, wait for Ben H to reply or what

    If Ben contacts me and is able (which I have no doubt he is able, he seems like an electronics genius) to fix it, then I would most likely keep it. But as is I am not sure what it would be worth. I paid over 200 for it. It was probably the most I have spent on a system in a while. I hate to have it as a non working 200 portable.

    Hello

    I am looking for some help or advice. My Atari 2600 VCSP (Portable) that I bought from Ben H (Revision 5 Serial #23) recently stopped functioning correctly. I bought it directly from Ben a while back and have used it sparingly as it was more for collecting purposes than for playing. I recently bought from AtariAge.Com Berzerk with voice. Which I decided to try on my vcsp. Now it has never been abused/dropped and it has always been in my office on a top shelf away from the kids. I plugged it in and I am only getting a screen with wavy colored lines and no sound. I tried cleaning it, I tried different games. So I am curious if there are any other VCSP owners out there that may of experienced this?

     

    I emailed Ben H to see if he might take a look at it, and I am waiting for a reply.

     

    If he is not available to repair it, than I am not really sure what to do with it since I am not handy with electronics.

     

    Would anyone be interested in it?

     

    Hopefully Ben will contact me soon.
