    Man, it's been... what, 25 years? 25 years and I'm still stuck on that bleeping waterfall level in Revenge of Shinobi. It's kinda hard to see why everyone loves this game when you've never been able to make it past the first part of the second level. =P

      Dude. I one-shotted it in 1990 when I first played it, and still breeze past it a couple of times a year when I fire it up! Face it, the thing just has your number.

    That bloody hospital has fucked up once too often. Two year-old Grandaughter had to take a 2 hour trip to a children's hospital after trapping her finger in a door. The local hospital said that she needed to get there between 9 and 9.30 am. So that's what happened - only to be told that she needed to be there by 8am because it was the weekend and all the surgeons had gone home!! Now we need to be there by 8am on Monday morning to get in first.

      This is an incredibly interesting thread for me to read. I live in the U.S. where our healthcare system has recently taken a huge stride toward being more free and universal. Those who opposed the plan cited the eventuality of instances exactly like the one outlined here. But still Tickled_Pink defends the system, even citing the U.S. system as the greater evil. Several days wait for a child's broken finger? Eight months for an MRI? Absolutely unheard of in the U.S. Routine medical...

      The real shame of it is that her performance was far and away the best thing in that show. I mean, after the metallic lion, of course.
